I did ask about them (not to buy, but to look at for the future) but she didn't have any in at the time.

I'd be interested in getting some in the future though, after these chicks are integrated with the 2 big girls :lol:

 

The ones I have in the incy at present are from the same supplier that she gets her day olds table birds from. Probably a spring project for you I guess now.

Jude told me they sell out of the table birds really quickly! :roll: Otherwise I'd have been tempted.

 

When we were at an animal rescue centre last week looking for dogs, one had a pen with 5 white roosters in. They were only young boys, looked about 20 weeks, but big and meaty. The owner had hatched them but couldn't keep them :roll: I was sorely tempted to offer them a home, but it didn't feel quite right. What are the ethics of rehoming birds from a rescue centre then eating them? :lol:

That is a bit of a moral nightmare to sort out :? ,

 

but it could be a very tasty one to sort out :wink::lol::lol::lol::lol: .
