WitchHazel
Hi chaps I'm not sure if irt's an invented bird, or if it actually represents a breed... do you recogise it at all? Thanks for your help.
Scramble
I would hazard a guess at 'no' but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a real one, probably a Peruvian Mountain Jungle Fowl or something I really am a novice with chicken breeds though, so don't take my word for it
bronze
Oh I would say yes in a very stylised way. Trying to think what

WitchHazel
I can't find my chicken breed book. I've got another book by some dutch woman, and I htought I'd found it in there - but the "pocket" (great description, thank you) gets in the way. Valkyrie
I thought it looked like the cornflakes rooster, but I thought it was carrying it's golf bag.
clootie
I thought it looked like the cornflakes rooster, but I thought it was carrying it's golf bag. Honestly Koojie, golf bag? Everybody knows it's a satchel for his smarties. It's the Orps that have the golf bags *tuts*
Valkyrie
I stand corrected, smarties it is.
WitchHazel
[ Everybody knows it's a satchel for his smarties. It's the Orps that have the golf bags *tuts* In this heat, I wonder if he'd switch to Minstrels ? And would they live up to their promise to "melt in the beak not in the claw" with today's temperatures?
clootie
That's a fine question indeed and I think one worthy of debate ................... Maltesers would most definitely melt into one giant globteser and therefore wouldn't fit in his satchel but I think Minstrels would stand the test of heat and satchel capacity, don't you? Hmmmm? WitchHazel
I don't know if they would. I suspect what would happen is that they would look like they were standing up to the heat, the shell would appear to be intact etc... but when one touched the Minstrel in anyway it would disintegrate. I'd go out and buy a pack to test my theory, but it's too hot.
