Valkyrie
I was going to have a bash at making clotted cream - haven't done it yet, but if I do it tomorrow anyone fancy scones? By the way I say scones to rhyme with stones - MIL says skonz. Well, she would - the old bat. I looked in a dictionary once because she kept trying to correct me - it said either way is fine. So I say it even more to annoy her. Teehee my bad! Young Em - have you tried both colours of grapes? Mine love the red ones - wouldn't touch the green ones originally - but now it's a case of "mine" "not if I grab it first" "s'mine gimme" "ow give it back give it back give it back . . . . . " The only way Sioux gets exercise is with a grape in her mouth and 3 little ones giving chase! It's a bit like this but with feathers flying:
Plum
Enjoy your evening I'm off to Yorkshire Show at crack of dawn with Mostin and hopefully meeting other omleteers (not quite as crazy as you) there in the Pimms marquee I believe.

Sheilaz
.......I say scones to rhyme with stones - MIL says skonz. Well, she would - the old bat..... I'm with MIL, so I'm an old bat too. Yes, either is correct, but whichever you use, the other sounds wrong doesn't it? Sconz, sconz, sconz! I'm an old bat! Yes please, I'd love some, tomorrow maybe? Valkyrie
All Omleteers are exempt from my scones tantrum - "Ooops, word censored!"ody could ever be like "MIL the old bat" - she does it because she thinks it sounds posh so as to get one up on her own mum (who was a really nice little old lady, poor old soul). Oops stop me quick! I hope Plum hasn't smuggled any lumberjacks home with her. Hopefully the weather held out and all had a fine old time. It's quite odd here weatherwise - feels like thunder. Even the birds seem to expect something coming.

Its just raining here I bought a new ice-cream maker today, so is it to be a mint choc chip, a vanilla or maybe a cookies and cream? emily95
What about rasberry ripple? Or.... Flake icecream! You make a normal vanilla, then when it is nearly ready you break up a flake and add it to the machine. Yum yum! Em xxx
Space Chick
Do you reckon it would work with a Galaxy Ripple? If it would I am sold
Valkyrie
At Boscombe there used to be a little ice cream kiosk (it's much fancier now) that had some little local company's ice cream. My favourite was called a "Rainbow". It was vanilla and strawberry with lemon sorbet all marbled together. Yummm. How about trying that one then? Any choc will do - Toblerone would be cool! Sconz? emily95
Sounds fab Debs and Koojie Tomorrow, school finishes early, and me and my friend are going to "the milk bar" and they make milkshakes with 150 types of popular sweets/chocolate! They do ice creams like that too! * very excited emily * Em xxx
Space Chick
Sconz from the Fonz I've seen it all now I was thinking about making some Strawberry ice-cream but mixing it with Vanilla and Lemon sorbet sounds wrong. Sorry Koojie Me and OH can't seem to agree on Ice-cream flavours at the moment. He likes chocolate, I like Strawberry. I like coffee, he wants cookie dough......!!! I think I'll just make Vanilla Em, that sounds like a really cool place. You'll have to let me know what you have. 150 types of popular chocolates. I reckon anything with Galaxy, Bueno or After Eights I'd like. Oh, Galaxy Caramel in Icecream, yum yum yum
