Falkor
Rain? What rain? It is glorious sunshine here and I am off out into the garden with Pimms! (for me....not for the girls! )
Space Chick
Try putting some plastic sheeting over the run (though make sure there is enough ventilation obviously ) Thats what I did when I had the cube run. It has been awful here in South Wales

*mummy_hen*
We had some heavy rain last week and had left the gazebo up from all the hot weather BBQ's...it actually turned out to be a brilliant protector for chickens, Florence could still roam about outside without getting soaked (don't know if it's because she's an ex-batt but she doesn't dry out very well so can't get too wet!!) Plum
I would only put it on if it's raining it can get very warm with a cover or leave one side open. I have raised the top up so warm air rises up out of the run. Well that's the theory.
welshnik
Well we have the Omlet winter cover on the run, so that appears to be doing the job for now. Debs can vouch for me though that it is PELTING down!!!!!!!
chelsea
Its torrential here aswell - thunder rain. The only thing I found worked well in torrential prolonged rain is the corrugated plastic sheets over the eglu run, it stayed lovely and dry. Ideal if you are home and you know its going to rain all day, I just wouldn't recommend using it all summer and when you are not home to monitor the weather as the plastic would make it mighty hot in the run!
