Cubes on outside of WIR's - URGENT

Recommended Posts

Thanks :)

Lynz, I know you told me but I can't remember, why have you got a space for your lid to slide through.

I know I am not Lynsey but we spent most of yesterday finishing each others sentances so I might as well answer (CM are you still in bed :lol: )

The cube roof has to slide forward if you want to take the back off. I think there are some good pics in the "First Cubes" thread to show how it all works.

TBH my cube roof only comes off on clean out days or if I have to get the girls out at night to apply some lotion and potion.

Em! wash your mouth out! I was watching my ickle girls! ..

Anne, justl ike Em said, it slides forward so if you want to be able to slide the roof to take it off where it stands you need to have clearance at the front for it to be able to slide if you know what I mean, hence the cut out.

I am not the person who thought up this cut out, others before me have done this, but I am very happy with my hubby's neat job. :D (but he IS a carpenter)

sorry you confused me, easily done, can you explain it in Lynz terms please.

(been up with sick child so not exactly with it in the ol brain department at the moment.. he's sleeping by the way I am not neglecting him  )

edited to add... I might be wrong and completly not understanding the question.... but.. I think that the mesh height etc can only be determined when the cube is in place as for instance, my WIR base is higher than the ground the cube stands on, so it's not as easy as just having a clear measurement??

I might be waaay off and if I am sorry

Hi guys, i'm currently building my wir although i havent got a cube yet and i need the same / similar info as Anne,

can anyone tell me the following measurements , from floor level.

to bottom of cube.

to bottom of cube door

to top of cube door

thanks in advance, Andy.

Andy, I can get you those tomorrow if I remember as we put ours up today :D BTW we found it easy and relatively quick to put together but found sorting out the ladder into the WIR a bit of a pain as we attached it to the cube, so need to look at that again tomorrow.
