TAJ
Now I discover the chicken sitters also had 2 blue eggs whilst we were away, we had another 40g one yesterday, but a 62g blue one today AND a mini dark brown one - I assume this is the first from the Barnvelder so just the Dorking's white egg I am waiting for. I have taken the photos - I promise to go and upload them now. Tracy

TAJ
I am very pleased - that is 5 blue eggs in her first week of laying, as a pure breed she will not carry on through the winter, but I can live with that. Although her mother was laying in Dec/Jan, so I might be lucky. Tracy

It looks like a great idea so you use older eggs us first. Sorry found the egg holder in Omlet shop - should have looked there first. Lewis
I really love your helter skelter egg holder in the photo's, can I ask where you got it. It looks like a great idea so you use older eggs us first. Sorry found the egg holder in Omlet shop - should have looked there first. You can get them from the company too, Egg Skelter. Now, where is ANH with her picture? They really are blue eggs! The photos I took of the hatching eggs makes them look really pale.
