clootie
I've managed to get hold of some tickets to see Michael McIntyre on Friday and I'm taking my DD who absolutely loves him, she's in tears of laughter every time she watches him perform on tv. I've got 4 rows from the stage so good seats too even if I did pay way over the odds for them I was planning to keep it a secret from DD until nearer the day but as is the norm for me with presents, I'm too excited to see the expression on the recipients face so I told her yesterday. I think the only word to describe the noise that came out of her is "squeak" !! Mind you, when I asked her to guess what the present could be, the first thing she said was "Is it a chinchilla?" Close but no cigar.

Cinnamon
My daughter saw him last year & loved him. She also met him after the gig & said he was the nicest of all the comedians she had met, & was genuinely pleased to see & meet his fans, unlike some others (naming no names Dylan Moran) I would love to see him too I think he is a proper old school comic - not too smutty, just darn funny
clootie
I totally agree Sarah. I can't stand comedians who have to rely on toilet humour. Love the photo, I might have to just hover around afterwards !! Thanks for the heads up !!

jlo
We are on the waiting list for The Anvil dates as I didn't see them in time to get tickets. There is something just great about having a few belly laughs and he is a brilliant comedian with razor sharp observations on the ordinary things around us. Having said that, OH doesn't get his humour! It is just the kids and me rolling around in stitches. Have a great time. (Going off now to see if I can book Bournemouth dates in October! )
