Avenue Q

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been to see Avenue Q?

**"May be inappropriate for 12 years of age and under." - from the website**

I'm going to London on Wednesday with my friends to see it.

The train there and back, and tickets to see it is £18.50 8) - bargain!

I downloaded the album a while back and think its really funny. Theres a few clips of it on youtube if you haven't heard of it, Schadenfreude is good, but I won't link to it because of the age limit :)

I first heard about them when they were on the Scott Mills show a few weeks ago. He was looking for ideas for his Scott Mills; The Musical for the Edingburgh festival and they came on. They seem very cheeky and sound lots of fun so I think you will have a great time.

I've seen it twice, once with hubby then with my sisters as a birthday present - it is very funny, very adult and highlights 'non pc' traits in a way only a musical could get away with.

We call it Sesame Street for adults - enjoy it!
