He Knows Me So Well....

Recommended Posts

I just collected my OH from work and mentioned in the car that I have spent a few hours today sorting out stuff to ebay as getting these sheep is cleaning us out money wise

I said that I had grouped my books to sell in small batches eg: dog training, horses, travel, garden design, management, self help etc.. and he said...

"so you have basically grouped them in to past fads?"

I didnt think of it like that  but he is spot on!

He then asked if that made enough space for the chicken and sheep books

What has your OH said that shows he/she knows you completely?

A couple of years ago he bought me a CD. My birthday was on a Sunday. He purchased the CD at about 6pm on the Saturday evening (I know so because I came across the receipt on his bedside table) so he didn't even try to hide the fact he'd spent ages looking for it :lol::lol: He is so rubbish!

I got him back though because I bought him a much needed hose pipe for the garden 8)

My hubby is a bit hopeless at buying pressies, for Christmas last year he left it a bit late so it didn't arrive until we'd left to go to Harrogate. When we got back I saw it was a big box and I knew it was from one of my fave websites, so I got really excited. Opened it, found loads of brown paper and a nightie at the bottom. :x Fairtrade cotton, but not very exciting. From now on I will tell exactly what I want for birthdays and Christmas.

He doesn't live with Rosie and I, but The Boy knows me very well and buys me super presents, like that big axe and chicken books.

He looked after me after an op went horribly wrong a few years ago and told the docs that if I say 'it hurts' then it must be super-bad as I have a really high pain threshold.

He knows that tank driving and a new chainsaw are the best presents.

The Boy can't cook though, but is tops at cleaning and washing up after me. :D

He knows me well........ :D:D:D:D

Mine too, he's fab and seems to know what I want/need/will do next before I do. He's lovely and very good at presents etc.

In our house it's the other way around, I have trouble fathoming him at times. I'm dreadful at Christmas and birthday presents and am never sure I have got it right, even when I've been spot on! He says that's good - it helps to keep me on my toes!

Good idea! Do you think he might have a brother

 He has a sister, but who knows, long lost cousin maybe - his mum lost contact with a sibling when they (him? her?) ran away from home. She has that effect on most people!

However he knows me well enough not to have a surprise party for me!
