Ah well done, what a relief for you ANH. Hopefully he will enjoy Uni more than he did school or college. I think you get treated as an adult a lot more at Uni - plus you have to take responsibility for attending lectures. If you don't attend, it's your loss. He will learn to mature & maybe appreciate a bit of independence too hopefully.

Very best of luck to him, I'm sure he will love it & surprise you eventually with his keeness to study!

Think I'm in the same situation - I got an unconditional offer for where I wanted to go so didn't bother working for A-levels 'cos I wasn't motivated at all. I know I'm going and wasn't bothered about working for them, need them for when looking for jobs + things though

... now is when I'm kicking myself
