ali-s
The blockages always seem to happen when we have visitors My parents were here last week when the tank played up twice. It happened in April when Jack had his 18th Birthday party. 40+ guests and 8 friends stayed over, now that was a blockage and a half Whenever we have a party or friends/children to stay I have to put notices up saying "No tampons down loo only poo" Worst job? I hate cleaning windows and we have soooooooooo much glass here. If I ever move and have to replace windows I'll use that Pilkington Activ that cleans itself in the rain I was thinking about putting a notice in the bathroom about what can be flushed away. If I was witty I could make up a little poem and cross stitch it. I have seen a cross stitch poem about putting the loo seat down and picking up wet towels. I need Poet Cleaning windows is my most hated job too. I cleaned them just before my Parents visited and had a few young Greenfinches and Chaffinches fly into them I have decided the birds are more important than shiney windows so will not be doing them again for a while
ClaireG
I hate ironing with a passion and havn't ironed for years. I agree that unblocking plug holes is a grim job. DH has to change the duvet cover on our bed, it's a superking and i just end up with the cover in a big tangle if i try.
Lesley
Claire - that's why we have a single duvet each on our Superking The whole lot is covered with a large cover. Much easier to do duvet covers and also no pinching of the duvet during the night I was thinking about putting a notice in the bathroom about what can be flushed away. If I was witty I could make up a little poem and cross stitch it. I have seen a cross stitch poem about putting the loo seat down and picking up wet towels. I need Poet Cleaning windows is my most hated job too. I cleaned them just before my Parents visited and had a few young Greenfinches and Chaffinches fly into them I have decided the birds are more important than shiney windows so will not be doing them again for a while I made signs saying "Please respect our septic tank - Do not put anything down the toilet which you have not previously eaten or drunk!!! - one exception......toilet paper!! " I thought it was OK but my son says he's never eaten poo, nor has he ever drunk wee Too true, but the signs stay! I would like even the horrible jobs in the house - if only they stayed 'done' for longer than 10 minutes
Scramble
I have a vendetta against sorting out the different coloured clothes to be washed. One day I'll get bored and turn everyone's underware pink.

chooklady
Washing the hall and kitchen floor, ironing with a passion, sorting out all the tumble dried socks and pants etc, in fact if any plain black socks are in there they get put in a bag all together so they can help themselves to plain black socks, I have been known to throw them away in the past they make me sooooooooo angry. Plugholes make me feel sick, quilt covers, I'll give up now, anything yucky or frustrating basically.
