She is so tiny though, and see her crouching, she's so adorable, she melts my heart every time

 

I can't imagine my life without my girls and the forum now, it has become such an important part of my day to day existence.

 

OK, I've started to get soppy now, time for bed I think

Nighty night. Mumsie still here - extended holiday and as we had roast dinner yesterday somebody wanted their Chinese takeaway = Mumsie! She also now has a taste for "seaweed" - wouldn't have happened with dad because everything out of the ordinary was labelled "foreign muck" particularly garlic - which was singled out as the worst thing on the planet despite it being grown here since the Romans brought it over with other things that were originally foreign but he tucked into. Like oranges or bananas or tomatoes and potatoes. I could go on but I'll spare you. In fact he liked the recent introductions! Well I always put it in food and he loved it. A bit like OH's uncle - hates cheese but will happily tuck into cheesecake - until he found out that it actually had cheese in it. I think it's the much older generation. Although I have to say mum is game to try quite a few new things - we even introduced her to Sushi and she was pleasantly surprised. I think her lack of back teeth prevents her from really going to town and she won't wear a plate either, but give her a dish of chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce and she's away!

So I am off to bed now and it's goodnight from me

Hi Peeps - looks like mums going to be here another night, so stuck!

Sushi isn't all raw fish and seaweed - some of it is cooked and delish! Chinese seaweed is shredded cabbage deep fried (easy to do with a bit of sugar - very tasty, but don't try it with chard, it doesn't work so well bleh ).
