They are so cute - lovely for a child's bedroom (just out of reach with regard to the beads - although DD swallowed a glass bead once and it came out the other end eventually - she wanted to see if it tasted nice!!??? )

me, who hasn't sewed for about 25 years, is gonna to do something similar using that chicken doorstop pattern (the triangular chicken) but make them smaller and do them for my Christmas hampers. Think I'll make them scented. might just keep them for myself

Oh yes! It was a blue one too and she was about 7 at the time - she is still dippy.

Yes she is usually very happy indeed, despite the terrible eczema and allergies she contends with she is a very happy bear. She is just recovering from a doctor induced bout of illness but thats a story for another time!

Oh I am very jealous of your markets! I used to love going to them when we used to visit in Bedford my inlaws and go to the markets around the little villages.

They came from a store in Stratford - they're Fairtrade. The long, hanging one is about 2.5 feet long.
