But have you noticed, I have my priorities right....chooks first, us later...is this why I am in such a pickle (polite way of saying something else :wink: )

I'll get some of my 100 items together first shall I..oh heck, I'll be there in a minute!!!!

:D What did you order then?

I do like a routine - it's never such a big deal if the boys know that each week certain chores get done certain days and I hate clutter - but the less said about their rooms the better. I was a messy child, but my mum left me to it in my own room, but I grew out of it and into tidyness, am hoping same will happen to my two, but seems to be taking a while... :?

I am a very chaotic person by nature but having 3 children at 3 different schools has made me a lot more organised.

I have a kitchen pin board, a draw in the kitchen for pending things like statements, bills etc which gets a thorough sort at the beginning of every month, and a diary into which everything from term dates to appointments, sowing and harvesting dates for veggies and reminders gets written, without which I would be lost.

I have a family planner on my fridge with 6 columns - one for each of us and a family column. I write every appointment, sleepover, etc down on that and if its not there then I will guaranteed to have forgotten it. Just need hubby to look at it every now and then. He has his own works diary and about once a month (or so) we have a quick diary callibration where by I say XX has a hospital appointment on such and such date and YY is at her friends and can you pick up ZZ from somewhere on this date etc etc

I need to get next years one soon, so I shall have a look in M&S (thanks Cinnamon) I also need to get my diary for my handbag. I get the student ones that go from Sept to Sept and usually they are in really bright plastic but I found a rather nice silver coloured one in WHSmiths last year so I am hoping they still do it.
