Chook n Boo Mum
I feel all inspired....so bought a book on decluttering .I may just make a start this evening once I've put all the clean chook pots back in the run & got DD off to bed in about 1/2 an hour........ Alis girls
The thing is by buying a book you have to find a place to put it therefore making clutter? I like a good de clutter usually hideous plastic things from well known burger places long forgotten and looking 1/2 dead - bit like me really. Cinnamon
Have any of you seen THIS I came across it online today & thought of you disorganised lot
Happy chickens!
What did you order then? I do like a routine - it's never such a big deal if the boys know that each week certain chores get done certain days and I hate clutter - but the less said about their rooms the better. I was a messy child, but my mum left me to it in my own room, but I grew out of it and into tidyness, am hoping same will happen to my two, but seems to be taking a while... Cinnamon
I managed to restrain myself, as I am a big fan of the M&S Family Planners, & have my 2010 one already
chickencam
I am a very chaotic person by nature but having 3 children at 3 different schools has made me a lot more organised. I have a kitchen pin board, a draw in the kitchen for pending things like statements, bills etc which gets a thorough sort at the beginning of every month, and a diary into which everything from term dates to appointments, sowing and harvesting dates for veggies and reminders gets written, without which I would be lost. Cinnamon
My eldest girl is very organised too (unlike Hubby & youngest girl!), & she really needs a decent student planner for her room, but I can't find anything suitable anywhere. Anyone got any tips?
bluekarin
I have a family planner on my fridge with 6 columns - one for each of us and a family column. I write every appointment, sleepover, etc down on that and if its not there then I will guaranteed to have forgotten it. Just need hubby to look at it every now and then. He has his own works diary and about once a month (or so) we have a quick diary callibration where by I say XX has a hospital appointment on such and such date and YY is at her friends and can you pick up ZZ from somewhere on this date etc etc I need to get next years one soon, so I shall have a look in M&S (thanks Cinnamon) I also need to get my diary for my handbag. I get the student ones that go from Sept to Sept and usually they are in really bright plastic but I found a rather nice silver coloured one in WHSmiths last year so I am hoping they still do it.
