The Dogmother
It's foggy, damp and cold again here! I'd like some dry weather please
Mel (& Paul)
Its foggy here - but dry (if that makes sense) - very chilly. I might just have to snuggle a woggle to keep warm

Came home & the fog has rolled in here too - I can only just see the chicken pen You would not believe the amount of idiots that were still driving with no lights on.............Mad! The Dogmother
A lot of that was going on here yesterday - no lights and driving too close!
ubereglu
I don't like it this cold-especially as we've only just got the heating off the time switch as now we're all in and not at work the house needs to be warm all day. It was horrible doing the chickens water this morning. I had to break off all the ice where possible and had to refill them with a bucket as the hosepipe froze overnight. I also had to defrost some of the containers as I couldn't scoop away the ice. I will dig out the citricidal later on.
Lesley
Not had much frost, and definitely no sunny, frosty mornings (which I love too!) It's just thick, freezing fog. Didn't know there were so many types of fog until I came to Leicestershire Same here Snowy - vile weather!

Mel (& Paul)
Brrrrr just got back from a ride out in the woods - it was beautiful - all the spiders webs were like diamond necklaces and it was so quiet - we saw buzzards and deer but I havent stopped shivering yet

Charlottechicken
It is cold, wet and foggy here. This morning we had a nice frost, followed quickly by fog, which cleared then descended again at about 3.15pm so I made a mad dash home! It is now quite thick with fog and a strange colour outside BBC weather forecast gives the same for the next three days here
Lesley
and here Claire Ginette and her lovely family drove all the way from Gatwick to collect their turkey - it took them 2 hours longer than it should, the fog was so bad. I'm old enough to remember frost patterns like that on the inside of my bedroom window
Egluntyne
Ditto Lesley!
Charlottechicken
I'm old enough to remember frost patterns like that on the inside of my bedroom window At my grandmothers house in North Yorkshire my bedroom faced due north. No double glazing and no central heating meant 'Jack Frost' visited inside and out every winter night! At the time I thought it was very exciting, checking to see what pattern had been left! That was the 70's. Kids today miss out on little things like that!
Lesley
It's only exciting for a short while though and then you have to put your feet onto cold lino ......... and get dressed quickly to get downstairs to the fire....... or take your clothes down so that you can get dressed in front of the fire....... Now I feel really old
Charlottechicken
Weather wise here in Brum we have had a hard frost and water is frozen solid. Everything is twinkly with ice! I may go for a walk later on with the camera and see what I can find (finished work till next week ). No chance of it thawing as it is still foggy!
