Valkyrie Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 Wahhh only me! Debs I might try the booksies - I like vampires. Poor misunderstood creatures that they are. I never had Calpol - for the younguns yes. I always liked Disprin - the way it makes your ears tingle because it's so sharp. Bit like Marmite - you love it or hate it. Oh yes and don't forget garlic (which is supposed to keep vampires away - except in Discworld) and lots of onions to boost the immune system. I suppose if you use the ginger powder it will still float, but you never know unless you try. In our early days (OK "courting" ) we used to have an occasional Chinese meal and try different varieties. One particular dish had lots of ginger slices in it. I told OH to try the potato because it was nice (it wasn't potato and there wasn't supposed to be any in the dish either), so OH chomped it and his face all screwed up, then he started coughing and shortly after that I was called a few choice words. Well I drank my drinky drink and still feel the same - maybe be a bit better tomorrow. I've just done the whole of Photosynthesis! - our teacher was away for a double lesson and he set us a load of work and questions to do. I don't understand it, but he's normally a really good teacher so hopefully he'll go over it tomorrow Night all, trying to get an early night although I know I'll lie there until 2am!. Space Chick Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 We did bumper bit Donna but she only has to look at OH and he melts (she is his favourite without question), she was sitting hunched up in the run and looking sad, so we've sprayed all the girls with anti peck spray (whilst distracting them with grapes ) and taken the bumper bit off. I am not convinced we have done the right thing Especially as we are going away for 2 nights tomorrow. Hopefully its something and nothing with her. We have also removed Pollys bumper bit as her behaviour has been perfect for the last few weeks.
