I feel like I've been scared by this very loooonnng thread (part 8 already?) and decided I must now investigate.

So now I feel like I'm wandering in another land without understanding what anyone is saying. What is this place? What should I post here?

Good morning you lovely people :D

Its a lovely day in South Wales today, the sun is shining but its very cold. Kind of like an early winter feel about it. I hope it lasts :D

I've been awake since 5.45am when I could have sworn I heard an egg announcement  I went out to investigate at 6.30am and no eggs. I must have dreamt it, as I was dreaming about my girls

Afternoon.

I'm shattered here - spent all afternoon at a community open day - fire, police, ambulance & health centre. Rather dire really and James was just a nutter - pretty much his whole school was there so I got to chat to the mums but no coffee or refreshements on sale except candy floss.

2 days back at work have me totally drained - I could have seriously done without lugging bouncy castles around today too. At least tomorrow I am having a day off - some planting, cooking and planning some work - nice relaxing pastimes. Oh and watching chickens!

Plum killed the last thread - serves you right for sitting on a chicken Pimmsie! :P Whoohoo number 8!

Hi Pengy, about time you came on here! Did I hear you mention firemen?7.gif But prefer sailors.12.gif

I like candyfloss too - but I think there should have been something to drink with it.

Hope Clootie had a good shopping session. We went to a farm and ordered a lamb to fill up the freezer. No I didn't choose my own - OH wanted to. Mum's boiler has died again (it went at Christmas and couldn't be fixed till January), so waiting for the plumber to come on Monday, and our kettle died the same day - so mumsie staying here with her kettle. But we went to John Lewis and bought another, so I am sending her back home after she does the ironing. :twisted:1.gif

DD couldn't sleep last night with excitement and her hair is now green, bright pink, blue and purple at the front.

DS came home late and after making a racket in the bathroom I went to tell him to be quiet ("sorry mum") and made sure he got into his room without falling down the stairs as he resembled a pin ball bouncing off the walls, hiccup, burp. Stooopid boy. Happy as Larry today - no hangover then.

Sunny and nice this morning - not a cloud in the sky - all cloudy and cold now. :(

My friend in work is engaged to a sheep farmer, so I always have a lamb off him for my freezer :D

Of course, because I've been off work, I haven't had one yet, I hope he still has some left

We called last years lamb Gerald, why I don't know, but he tasted rather nice

Just been bathing Henry, and OH has been taking photos of him playing with his rubber duck

Henry used to hate baths, but a few years ago I thought about getting him some bath toys, now he loves it.

The only thing is, if you're in a bath, he'll drop in a toy, not too bad when its his tennis ball but when its one of his cuddly toys  Quite thoughtful really, he must think, "bless them they are having a bath with no toys, that can't be fun. I know I'll drop one in"

I thought it was excellent :D

I have got used to the new format now too.

I think I will be early to bed tonight, so hopefully someone will be along to keep you company soon Em, as I don't know how much longer I will be able to stay up for :anxious:

I wonder if Lewis got on well at the dispatch course today :)
