LottieR
We collect our chickens yesterday. They seemed scared when we first put them in the run cowering in the corner for a while, but they soon started to mooch around. Getting them into the Eglu last night was interesting, it involved my husband trying to post them through the door and me on door closing duty on the outside of the run. They were a bit reluctant to come out this morning but once they were out they were having a good look around. The children love them, my Eldest as become quite attached to Lavender already. We have called them Ophelia, Titania and Lavender. I was going to call Lavender Lady Macbeth, but Evie isn't having any of it so Lavender she is. Ain't Nobody Here
Congratulations . What lovely names - we definitely need to see photos of such elegant sounding ladies . They'll soon get the hang of where bed is, so you won't have the same palaver for long .

JanTheDiver
Lovely names. Mine took some coaching on the first night, we hung a torch in the cube and they all eventually came in of their own accord. After that they have gone to bed by themselves every night. They are soooo cute huddled together in the nest box but I don't think Carrot is keen on being the one on the bottom of the pile all the time!
