Space Chick
Anyone else going to be watching tonight (Channel 4 10.35pm) apparently he's going to be predicting the National Lottery Draw Should be good, as Friday he's then going to explain it
bluekarin
I will probably, even though I don't like this sort of thing. Just to see what he's up to. Shame he didn't do it earlier today as I could have bought a ticket and won 20p
Chickvic
I'll be watching - I love Derren Brown - he's just so weird
Lewis
I'll try and watch - but have a load of Biology work to do I can always do it afterwards I think it'll just be some clever stats. I did buy 3 tickets earlier though
Space Chick
Apparently, OH read that in a future event he will make people stick to their sofas. I think I'll nip to the toilet before that one starts just incase
redhotchick
Thanks for this reminder! Just in the nick of time. I think if you google "stucktomysofa" you can watch the backward advert, forward, and many more bits. I don't trust him at all. After going onto the "The Events" web site, I felt like I actually was sticking to my sofa. I just stood up and sat down to make sure I still could! Space Chick
Tune in on Friday and we'll find out
fluffyknickers
What happened what happened I taped it!! I assume he got all the numbers right? If so HOW, what, I dont get it. And surely he wont actually be telling us exactly how he did it or we would all do it. Weird!
Space Chick
Its one clever illusion Mazzyc. We had the bbc broadcast on one tv and his show live on another and the broadcasts were simultaneous. He had 6 numbers which were on a holder, but he said that Camelot would not allow him to reveal the numbers before the draw for legal reasons, but they would remain in view. Which they did the whole show. Therefore, Somehow, he must have worked a method to get the numbers on the turned around balls after the draw. Still incredible though
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I want to believe! I love his tricks!
fluffyknickers
Hmmm are you watching it? I dont believe this is how it could have possibly been predicted - i still think it was a brilliant clever trick.
redhotchick
My Sky + hasn't worked. Thank goodness for Ch4+1!
bluekarin
so did he fix the machine?
fluffyknickers
I am confused! Which is probably the plan. I dont believe that its all to do with people writing numbers then dividing to the average - we'd all be doing it if this was the case. I also cant see that he fixed a machine. Its a clever trick! I want to meet him.
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
We will never know. "I'd like to burn him at the stake and watch his witch's heart bubble." Stephen Fry. He very clever. I always finish watching his shows with a massive smile of bafflement.
Space Chick
I am conducting the experiment for BHWT, feel free to randomly choose your numbers on my other thread
Lesley
I wonder what the Derreb effect will be on the Lottery? - if averaging the numbers is the way he did it then a lot of groups will be sharing the jackpot and ending up with diddley squat and if it was a clever trick then all the extra bets placed tonight will ensure that someone will win more than normal At least it's given me a way to choose some numbers for tonight I love watching his programmes - he always makes me smile
