I've done a 'Palmer 07'

Recommended Posts

Well no I'm not quite that brave....... but Em got me thinking about a side door to the run.

So I moved the side panel to the end and the end panel to the side. I put the extension on properly, it was overlapped by 1/2 before. I had to fill in some gaps with the skirt, but as I am on slabs I reckon they probably weren't needed. :anxious:

Now what shall I do with the extra space I've got? :?

:lol::lol: Hadn't thought of that :liar:

It's a bit of a hotchpotch but I hope to get a spare door panel soon so will change it and things will be a bit tidier. :D

:D - Doing a Palmer07 today could be throwing your coffee all over yourself and your colleague :anxious:

But very happy to see your "Doing a Palmer07" is of benefit to you and the chooks (rather than costly to you as I will be paying both dry dry cleaning bills :roll: )

Looks good and I agree with Lynsey - ignore OH

and yes...more space for more chooks - I have also devised introduction pens using an extra door panel - I will post pics of that later :D

Loving the Ikea stool too!

Well done Plum, thats cool :clap:

Your OH is just jealous that he didnt get to play with any cutters/pliers/anglegrinders during the conversion

8) No cutters used, I can put it back tomorrow to it's original form. It's like playing with meccano :think: now if I found the boys old set (if they haven't used it all up in the computer) and ...........................

OH is fine, he's just telling the truth. :lol:

Thankyou :oops::D

So which chickens mix well with my Omlet girls? Thinking pure breeds so they are less likely to have egg problems like my little Sparrow :( . Would bantams mix ok? If not what chickens are same sort of size, don't want to go any bigger because only have run and extention. :?:D

I'm off on hols tomorrow so could be posting a thread in chickens when I get back :wink::D
