quickcluck
OK Guys will try and keep this short! Neighbour has 2 bantums, and told me she was going to add a hybrid. I advised her to add in 2 in a separate accomodation and to do it over a few weeks. She called me today distraught. Said she couldn't wait, went and got a 15wk hybrid 8pm on saturday night and put she straight in to sleep with the bantees She was woken up very early sunday morning to much sqwarking where they were bullying her in the house Now she has her in a tiny make shift run and has called her mum over to babysit incase of bully when she lets them into the garden!!! Why don't people listen I suggested an extra run and an extra chook to even it out and to give her a friend, but she's not keen. I will take her an extra feeder and drinker as she only has one and I said they would guard it. Will also take purple spray and ukadex! Can Bantees have bumper bits put on? What can I do to help her? Sorry to ramble....
Space Chick
Some people have no sense It makes me angry when you give them advice, they ignore it and then come running to you for help when things go horribly wrong
Egluntyne
Oh heck. It is irritating when you give sound advice, only to have it ignored because someone is in a 'must have' frame of mind. Thank goodness she had you to turn to when it all went pear shaped.
redhotchick
How frustrating! The poor hybrid! You would have thought with 2 bantams already that your neighbour would have had more sense!
Plum
I reckon best thing you can do to help her is to direct her to the forum for all the help she needs. She can read FAQ section on introductions and some of the threads. Bit late but still

Chucky Mama
I know people like that, they ask for advise, usually late at night, ignore it then contact me when the wheels fall off, again usually at night, to help sort it all out
Ain't Nobody Here
Poor chicken . Thank goodness she's got you next door to help keep her safe .
Cooks
makes you mad doesn't it. I agree at least she's got you to help her... the hybrid I mean.
WarrensWorld
W C Fields summed it up when he said, "There's one in every crowd". Trouble is they always live next door.......
bigmommasally
Argghh! Some people. You must be so cross! I'd get revenge for the hybrid and forget to tell her to take precautions when using Ukadex
quickcluck
I've been over there, and the new girlie is 15weeks and looks like a warren. I've checked her over and cant see any wounds, but have left purple spray and ukadex just in case. They were all freeranging and ignoring each other, then the baby went into the house for a kip and the bantees went for a look see, but no argy bargy. I've suggested a water pistol and I hope have persuaded her to keep them separate over night for a few weeks I dont think she will get her a companion tho
