I have my first 10k run in 6weeks time, and if I can do it in less than 1.5 hours I will be chuffed to pieces - 2.5hrs to run a half marathan is way beyond me!!

I was so envious and watched it on tele, after getting back from cheering hubby round a half marathon in the hills up here.

I am only just back into my running after a years lay off. I got seriously achy and depressed after stopping HRT. So much so that I though I had ME

I've never run a half except in training for the London Marathon.

I think your time is great. I did 5.25 in the London 3 years ago and have been trying to get back ever since. I'm determined to do one in under 5.

Four years ago I entered the ballot knowing that first timers wouldn't get in and guess what

I got in.

I made such a hash of the run so resolved to try again.

Do you know that entry was all online for next year and three days after opening the entries were closed

I have an entry for Brighton the week before London so if you don't get in CM how about running that with hubby and me? Well just me really as hubby would leave me standing
