It's been a long time happening due to one thing or another but at long last, please meet the new girls...

 

First (and most adorable) is Rose, the Dark Brahma

 

 

 

She's so slight and sweet. Hard to believe she's going to be ginormous in a few weeks time . She's the most cuddly of the three and O is absolutely delighted to have a Brahma at last.

We've been wanting a Brahma for about 3 years now but haven't been able to find a breeder round here who has them. We found one about 2 months ago when I got my Eglu back after lending it out but she let us down at the last minute as she sold it! I couldn't believe my luck when this breeder said he had Brahmas . I would have had a Dorking too but sadly they were only 5 weeks old. Next time . Dorkings are top of my "must have" list now I can cross off a Brahma .
