According to my GP no, it is the raised temperature that is the key symptom to set it apart from typical colds. My temperature when I got it was over 39 degrees C, which is quite hot apparently! Chicken curry - her dad is cooking It's what she wanted but we are having take away pizza tomorrow Can I come for tea tonight and tomorrow please That's what I thought Debs, he doesn't seem to have a raised temp - don't have a thermometer, just really terrible sounding cough and very sore throat. I like the idea of the lollies - you can make it look as though it is what he shouldn't be having at all - they all like that special naughty thing even if it isn't. Milky things no good. Or if you have any food dye, colour some water and give it to him on a spoon and tell him it's medicine. We did this when my brother had pneumonia - he wouldn't touch anything, but we mixed colouring with a raw egg yolk and he slurped it up (that's before anything about salmonella hit the fan of course otherwise my mum would have tried a hard boiled egg - which she now does till it's almost hard! ). Ooh chicken curry - we had that on Tuesday, last night was shepherds Quorn pie tonight it's sausages. And I am about to be on taxi service.
