Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 9

Recommended Posts

Afternoon all! Olly's got a yucky cold, his nose hasn't stopped running - snot everywhere!

Lewis - I'll try and remember to look in TKMaxx for gloves.

Went to a coffee morning at the school earlier, it was in the dinner hall and I haven't been in there since I was in Infant school. Very strange, it all looks tiny now. Went and saw Dan in his classroom too, which was lovely :)

Hi all - glad the Sandy Balls mystery was sorted eventually - had you lot going for a while though!

Lewis is old enough to be my son - and in some families grandma! Luckily I am not a granny yet (that I know about anyway). I know I have a toyboy for a hubby, but really! :shameonu::lol:

Well Tipsy was clipped this morning - under protest, I snipped a bit and decided I could go a bit shorter - and she was fine. She did sulk when I put her down and she even let me stroke her while she was free - not sure but perhaps the beginning of a crouch?? Ooh hope so. She is certainly going quite red now. Squirt was done this afternoon - guess who trod on a curry poo thinking I would let her go? I ran her foot under the tap - hah! Then we had the most delightful wrestle, pull out wing, flap it back, pull out wing, flap back, pull out wing get to grab scissors, flap back, last time gotcha! She was the whingiest little toad out of the two. So no more Red Arrow impersonations with a bit of luck.

I've been modded - put a joke on but it was considered a bit too violent. Shame because it was funny. Even Mark thought so too. But thinking about it I could see the other side, so I didn't feel as though I was being picked on - these mods are OK really (suck up to Teabag time  ).

Oh I do like posting things - I pinch OH's work stamps! :shh: My partner in crime (DD) knows how to work the franking machine too. :shh:

Had a funny dream about vegans last night - I was worrying that they had proper food given to them and arguing with other people to tell them that vegans can't have dairy etc. Then there was a race between the vegans and another team which involved running cross country all tied together with a rope. The vegans won by rolling down a hill and I was jumping up and down cheering them on. Whatever brought that on? :?

Yes, for now until his GCSE's are over and done with. It's the next stage we're thinking about now. He would like to go to another school for 6th Form but he has to make the grades or it will be a no go. It will be interesting to see if the oik plans to stay on for 6th Form or maybe leave to a life on the sofa watching Jeremy Kyle.

*naughty cloots, slap on wrist*

Ooh yes, hope it all goes well - give the oiks the evil eye. Tell her you have your contacts!

Young fellow my lad can't be any worse that mine - he doesn't sit on the sofa all day - he's asleep for most of that! Then he decomposes while playing on the computer. Pooo reach for the Oust! Thinking of moving and not telling him.

Oh does that mean Debs has already found chickens??? Put a little something extra in OH's dinner (tabasco sauce in baked beans is good for winning an argument/making a point - been there done that  )

OK, I went shopping today to get a few things I needed and happened upon a clearance sale in a pet shop.

Well, if there wasn't a rabbit/guinea pig run 4ft by 4ft by 2ft high reduced to £25

So I bought it, brought it home and built it in my living room. Tried to take it outside, couldn't get it through the utility room and out of the back door

So, I took it apart, and re-built it in the WIR run. This will make an excellent small intro/ hospital wing.

Best bit is that the girls like jumping on top of it, so when Phil came home from work we went to B&Q and bought some clear Acryllic sheets to go on the top, so in theory when any potential new girls from Saturday are integrated we can open the doors and we'll have an upstairs and downstairs :D

Even better news is that I won't need to reduce my floor space for any intros on Saturday, as they can still use the upstairs level

On a different note, I tried to get the ex batts to sleep in the cube tonight. Ace was having none of it, but Polly and Barbara have gone to bed there fine. I am going to go out and check later if they stayed in :) Donna took pity on Ace though and came out with her 8) So I think that Ace will be back in the pet carrier, I wonder if Donna will be in there too.

I was hoping that the ex batts would sleep in the cube by now, they have been fully integrated for 3 weeks now, and whilst I have another cat carrier with home made roosting bars, I was hoping that I would only have 1 to clean and not 2 plus the cube

Just you and me Laura at the moment :D

The bargain seems less great now we have spent the £30 on Acryllic sheets, but OH being OH wanted only the best for his girls.

Went out to check and Ace is in the car carrier on her own :(

I tried to move her to the cube but she got really stressed and started pecking at me, so I have left her there, I hope I have done the right thing by her.

Polly and Barbara seem happy in the cube though :)

Evening all. :D

I've had a really busy day so no forum time.

I promise to read all of your posts tomorrow ...see Debs?

Jab was fine, I informed the nurse I was not pregnant and that I was not on any medication...needle goes in....needle goes out.

I can go back to class.

My arm is basically just a bit sore but all is fine :D

was slightly surprised that there was blood on my shirt when I got home but turns out that I was a bit slow bleeding...everyone else bled straight away.

Anyway, after that cheerful note

Night

Well its only 1 more sleep until the big day trip with Palmer07

I think if I came home empty handed, Phil would probably die of the shock

JJ - Glad your jab went well.

Lewis - well done on the Beehaus homework, and being a nerd is a good thing. My Phil is a nerd, and he's fabulous

Well, so much to do, so little time. I am in the process of making my Jack Daniels Marinade for our Salmon for lunch tomorrow, as I want to marinade my Salmon overnight. I am also waiting for my organic veg box delivery, as I can't make my Raspberry Coullis until it arrives  Then I can make my Raspberry, Rosewater and Chocolate Tiramisu.

See ya later x

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time with Palmer07! :D

I think I am about to become a taxi and then the washing and ironing beckons. I am also informed that OH's partner is coming over later - the house is a tip - again! Bah humbug, he can sort out DD's overflow. And the kitchen - it's mostly their stuff anyway. :notalk:

Then I'm going to find a nice plant for a friends present - and perhaps some lavender to border my nice new path in the front garden. :D
