Chicken boarders

Just got home from a day out with Cookie Monster so been out to the girls and collected the eggs and came back in with all these:

 

Now.....I only have ONE cream legbar, Saffy, so it seems that she has laid her FIRST two eggs all in the same day!! One was in the nestbox and the other on the roosting bars of the .

 

Which means that I can now safely say that the rogue cream eggs being laid on the floor of the WIR belong to my big baby buff orp, Brandy! So all LF girls are in lay

 

Thought i best share this news with you as when i shouted "GREEN EGG!!! GREEN EGG!!! in the back garden a couple of minutes ago there was no-one out there to hear me

She laid another today.........made a right caffuffle in the nestbox as Gin and Brandy were already in there!

about 26 weekish.....the bredder was a bit vague on ages when i picked her and Brandy up.

 

They have been home since 23/06 so it has taken them 3 months to start laying.

 

It was well worth the wait

I have some way to go until Jasmine decides to present us with an egg of any colour but hopefully blue , give that she's supposed to be about 17 weeks now
