speckled hen Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 (edited) Hi everyone I have rang the breeder who sold me colin and he has a girl orpington ready for me, we have decided to get 2 girls to help with introductions (any excuse) so he said we could go at any time and what do you know my fab OH said we can go this afternoon So we will be getting 2 new additions, one orpington, a chocolate/toffee colour I think and what ever else takes our fancy, he has lots to pick from. I am soooooo excited I will post later to let you know what we get. We got a really gorgeous Amber, she is white with lots of brown speckles and a little ginger orpington with black tipped tail feathers. I saw the choc/toffee girls but Keith wants to keep them to breed with next year I think another trip to Asselby will be on the cards as they where really lovely. I was a bit disappointed really but not too bad as our girl is a smasher. Palmer07 - Yes we have kept Colin, we love him too much to let him go and luckily the neighbours don't mind, so we have got him 2 new lovely ladies. Next task, names????? oh and pics.
