To fill the void left by having to wait a fortnight for the next episode of True Blood, I decided on Friday to give The Vampire Diaries a go. I watched all 22 episodes in about 36 hours It's rather good, if a little tame. No rude words or naughty bits. Has anybody read the books? If so how similar to the series are they and at what point in the books is the telly series up to now?

Rosie hasn't watched these, but she has read/is readign the books that Falkor lent to her; she loves them.

 

R also saw the latest Twilight film yesterday - said it was far better than the previous one.

Dennis O'Hare is just superb. Whoever is in charge of casting does a brilliant job. But "Ooops, word censored!"ody has made me laugh as much as James Frains Franklin. I know he's mental but I love him! The best moment (apart from naked Eric) has to be Franklin texting

I should add that if anyone has Sky they should be watching Generation Kill right now on FX. Alexander Skarsgard is in it and it's very good I've watched it all before but Mr Griffin is at work so I have the luxury of seeing it on proper telly and not the internet
