Paddy
In the late eighties there was a trend for jeans to have coloured piping down the side. I customised mine very badly looking enviously onto my best friend who had the real thing. I also had the farrah bangs.

I customised mine very badly looking enviously onto my best friend who had the real thing. I also had the farrah bangs. Oh I loved those jeans! And the ones with stripes. And the ones I used to take in on mums sewing machine so that they had the narrowest ankle measurement. And the ones I made all patchy with domestos! Looking back they were all hideous, especially when worn with knee length thick jumper, leg warmers and mochasins sp.
Reikiranf
My YD always laughs at the time she was on a bus and a boy came down the stairs jumped the last couple and as his feet hit the deck his jeans slid down to his ankles I think trousers are an age gauge the older the male the higher the trousers, think Simon Cowell I thought his were bad until I saw Patrick Moore on TV a while ago his waistband was almost at his armpits
chickenNutter
Come on, own up, who had leg warmers in the '80s. I know I'mnot the only one! Fame had a lot to answer for!

The Dogmother
Come on, own up, who had leg warmers in the '80s. I know I'mnot the only one! Fame had a lot to answer for! Not just the leg warmers, but the whole kit - I was a fitness instructor and danced too in those days. Surely all that lycra was toxic
Ain't Nobody Here
There was a young-ish girl at my step class last week with bright pink legwarmers . Not a look I'll be going for .
whoopsie
Hey I love my legwarmers! Since an achilles injury they've been a godsend! (they are black though!!) One of my friends teaches an '80s aerobics' class in which we are all encouraged to dress up. All the music is from the 80s and it's mad - but darn good fun! I suppose your son could wear Omlet pants? That might work!
