Glad you got the car Laura :clap: There is something about having the freedom to jump in and go :P Enjoy every minute (and worry about the petrol in a week or two :wink: )

 

I am fine, enjoying the girls and the webcam :wink: My babies have been integrated with the big girls the last 2 days which has been fabulous :dance:

Evening all!

 

Oooh a car!! Independence is a wonderful thing!

 

Great news about Nyssa and Susan Debs! :D

 

I have had Tia, Maria, Brie, Onion, Rum and Raisin out free-ranging today! A few skirmishes but unsurprisingly it was Brie and Onion, the tiny Pekins causing all the trouble :roll:

Bless them, its always the little ones you have to watch. :lol:

 

Susan took on one of the ex batts today for mealworms, and won :shock:

 

I am going to keep a close eye on them tomorrow, and then decide what I am doing when in work on Monday :think:

 

Laura - Don't worry :lol: You also missed PurpleTree and Joshy and Chicky and :lol::lol::lol:

Must admit, I've been scrolling back to page whatever (miles back!) to keep trying the link, and been unsuccessful, it just wouldn't show me the webcam.

Just now, I've seen the link in your sig. and it's clicked straight through! Wonderful! Although it's dark right now. :lol: But at least I've learnt what to do. :lol:

We saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus .. bit of a mouthful but was a good film :)- Heath Ledgers last :( it was quite clever how they finished his unfilmed bits

Well I am now in bed in my pyjamas and thinking to myself if I stay up half an hour later, I can still have a half hour lie in. Its crazy logic but works in my head :wink:

Just watched Withnail & I to mark the end of the decade and the fact that we're going to the Lakes on monday and Chichi wants to be able to say we came on holiday by mistake :wink:

There are 2 Biology groups and the other group were marching around school 'protesting' about battery hens :lol: - typical.

 

We do have a sheet about thinking about where your food comes from :-

Where do you buy your chicken from? - Cotswold Chickens + hatch them myself :wink:

Where do you buy your eggs from? - People buy eggs? :eh:

I only remembered to change back my clock a couple of minutes ago even though I replied to the thread about it :lol:

 

I woke up at 12 :shock:

And then I realised it was actually 11 so I laughed :wink:

 

Well, I have packing to be doing today...we're off to the Lakes again.

 

It's a lovely day here :D

Lewis has decided he neds new lights for his room - at the moment I have 12 tiny little spotlights in a circle, but only 4 of them work now :roll:

I was thinking about getting some colour changing LED theatre lights, but it'd work out at a few £100 so might not :lol: I've found a touch dimmable light switch, they had some really cool glass ones at Grand Designs, but they're £60 :shock: ... now just need the lights :wink:

 

 

 

 

My brother is having a fancy dress party next week and I need to get a costume, I really want to go as this chicken or this :lol: - can't really spend £100 on it so maybe an inflatable ostrich? 8)

 

The last one I went to I got a costume from the fancy dress place I worked at but they're sold a few now, and me + my friend went as 70's hippies :lol:
