Geoid
Ah, let me explain, I forgot my PE kit, so at lunch I had to go home and get it... 6 mile round trip.....
ClaireG
How annoying Fred. You'll have to set a reminder or get us lot to remind you They used to have spares when i was at school, many many years ago. The spares were always the grossest, oldest looking things you can think off, i also had to wear horrible dark green gym knickers instead of shorts and for outside stuff we had a gross green skirt As well as being hopeless at any sport i'm sure what we had to wear put me off even more! Space Chick
I was too competitive at sports (but not particularly good either), I got banned from hockey when I broke a girls finger (I didn't mean to, I got carried away with my stick ) so I started playing rugby and football with the boys instead. I could tackle even the biggest boys
PurpleTree
I used to really hate the gym knickers (navy blue) and teeny weeny gym skirt. Was always freezing on the hockey pitch and it had to be almost snowing before they'd allow us to wear jogging bottoms. Much preferred badminton in the sports hall, although I wasn't very keen on games lessons past the 2nd year at all.

Scramble
Ooh Josh how exciting Keep us udated, pleeease Ugh...PE...can be fun...but teachers from helll...... If we forget our kit we're not allowed to leave school to go get it (even in breaks) or phone home to ask someone to bring it in. The teachers just glare at you and act as though you are dead from then on. Got some Chemistry and English results today...all good...I am pleased Very worried about Maths... Maths doesn't like me... And there are science exams on the 19th...eek...here's counting down Lots of revision for me.

Valkyrie
Oooh pip pip pip, Josh. Bad luck Fred, better luck next time. I loved hockey - probably because we had a good team in front of us (I was a back) and when it did venture down our end and interrupted our chatting either of us used to whack the ball back up the field. Of course if you could aim it at the opposition's legs then that was a bonus shot - kicking tut tut. Mwahahaha. When the 5th form did a charity match between the teachers I managed to squash our Chemistry teacher's fingers between the sticks. St Trinians . . . la la la. We had to wear regulation thick knickers anyway - bum always covered in navy blue fluff (yuk) - divided skirts for PE and no trousers even in the fog and snow (now that was fun on the pitch)! Have you seen young Tom's bad news. Very sad.
Space Chick
Good news on the eggs Josh. Well done on the results JJ. I wonder how it went in school with Lewis today, maybe he's still chasing the chickens around the classroom Off to find Tom's bad new, although I feel sad before looking

Space Chick
Night night lovely friends I probably won't have chance to be on tomorrow, as its our wedding anniversary (5 years), and so I am going on a romantic date..... with Phil I hasten to add Henry will be going down my MIL's for an overnighter so he won't be home getting scared by the fireworks. Thomas will be locked in the house whilst we are out, but he's so lazy he'll probably just be tucked up in bed all evening
ClaireG
Sorry, there's no link to show and the full story isn't on the papers website. It's only a short quote by me about yesterday. It just says Claire G , my age who lives on ---- with her husband S and son 10 who goes to ---- school said " I just heard the bang and looked out of the window and i couldn't really believe it. " We've only lived here since May, but this hasn't put us off living here".

Valkyrie
Happy Anniversary Debs and Phil for tomorrow. Never mind Claire. A couple of years ago a car crashed up hill into the side of a house - on the top floor! The hole was huge - the people weren't able to live there because of it being unstable. Amazing! Methinks the car was speeding somewhat to turn it into a rocket and launch itself up so high. I wonder if Jlo remembers that. I forgot to mention it was on the A30 going into Basingstoke at a place called Hatch/Old Basing. And nighty night peeps, I'm off too. xxx
Lewis
Bonjour It was good - Theodore stayed in the run for most of it + I had Purkinje out all night and then she just sat on the table next to the incubator Theodore did make a break for it at one point but I grabbed her. Most people were really interested but some were terrified of chickens The display/info

Valkyrie
Nice display Lewis - chickens of course needs nothing more said. Glad Purkinje was a good girl. Theodore probably felt like the bird bird from Alcatraz! We have rats in our compost bin - nothing new, just visiting our house instead this year. I shall have to get some more poison as we have run out. Now on no more kitchen s"Ooops, word censored!"s on there - just garden stuff and chicken poo. I spy some new sort of stuff that Egluntyne recommends (or was it Lesley?), so hopefully I can get that locally, otherwise whatever I can get and order the Neosorexa online. Still no eggs, but on the plus side any birdie pecking at the ceramic ones will not bother with the real ones. Ho hum it was nice outside this morning, but the clouds are gathering and they look mean - better open up the greenhouse again in a mo.
