craftyhunnypie
OMG that witch is fantastic - absolutely fantastic! I feel put to shame at the gifts I made now & they took me a while to make too. I bet that witch took ages to make - it is so utterly brilliant - I can't get over it! A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I feel put to shame at the gifts I made now & they took me a while to make too. Emma.x Providing you put a lot of thought and effort into it CHP, that's the main thing. Visible thought and effort are just as important if not more so than skill. I love a good chutney me and jam in moderation. No pics cos I've lost the battery charger for my camera but I'll take one soon with he phone - which also has a flat battery! Couperwife
I can see a line of posties volunteering for the jobs on your roads if your not careful cathy x
craftyhunnypie
Ours is a sweetie. He buys our eggs & is so shy & nervous. His little hand shakes when he has to get us to sign for special deliveries or recorded. Poor love. We let him shelter in our caravan when the weather is terrible. We look after our postie - he's a lovel, honest one & he brings me nice things! Emma.x
Guest
our postie is marvellous too - he always delivers even when we are not home - he signs the card himself and puts the little "you were out card" through to tell us where he left the parcel. It's very secluded our house and we have a huge woodpile in the carport which offers lots of "hiding" places. Unlike when I lived in Basildon and my house was on a main road right nextdoor to the doctors surgery and DHL left EXAM PAPERS in a pile on my doorstep. Not only did they do this they were actually from the school round the corner so if some toe rag had nicked them they would have likely been a pupil at that school. Helly Welly
This is my amazing handmade basket, i'm so impressed by the talents of the omleteers and i'm really glad that my recipient loved their pressie too. The things i make always look better in the photo than when i finish them at home. Maybe its the distance that makes my items look better. craftyhunnypie
Wow - there are so many gorgeous things here. I love the mobile - real good fun & whacky..right up my street! I also love the Autumn basket - very talented. Basketry can't be easy, it's something I'd love to try. Don't you have to keep wetting the willow? Clever that basket is! Well everything I've seen on this thread is soooo lovely & clever - what a talented, thoughtful, caring bunch we are! Emma.x

laurmurf
My lovely witch came with me to the alpaca-adoration Omlet get together: she sat in pride of place over us at the pub, smiling white-witcherly at us while we scoffed! She got passed round the table and I had to throw some pretty filthy looks at some omleteers with 'sticky fingers' (like HEN's alpacas, I thought she might get sneaked into a car boot and driven away!)
