Chick-a-doodle-doo
So sorry. The waiting is driving me mad. Did I say I get my cube on Wednesday. and my ex batts on the 21st???? Do you have any photo's of your ex-battery girls? Might keep me going for a bit!
Janty
This is Tinsel (aka He/She), one of my ex-batts. She was rescued in December 2007 and if you think she looks like a cockerel here, you should see her now. She started crowing in Easter this year and has gone to live at M-I-L's with her own group of girls. The middle hen on the next photo is Mistletoe who went missing and turned up seven miles away and sparked a radio and media frenzy (well, slight excitement!) in our area. And finally, this is Bauble who came to us bald and who passed away last Christmas.

coco
I have pics of my ex batts on here somewhere. Little madams escaped this afternoon and went in seperate directions. A neighbour spotted one inthe garden across the road and came to tell me, luckily the man whose garden it was thinks the girls are great ad helped me catch her. The other one had gone next door but is easlly caught with a few mealyworms. I was givng them a talking to when I looked up to see two teenage lads loig at me very strangely. Lavenders_Blue
Here are some piccies of my girls. They're not the best photos in the world, partly because I don't have a great camera but mainly because the girls don't stay still long enough to let me snap them! That's Kylie, my miniature gold partridge brahma. She is gorgeous. I now have two LF gold partridge brahmas thanks to Griffin. They have equally gorgeous markings.
