Seen the news this morning - when Birmingham was mentioned my ears pricked up - glad you are OK, Lewis.

Well Ciaran missed his train link due to delays, so ended up stopping over with "new"???? GF, although I think this one is only a friend - I recall the name from before. :?

Cough quite bleh, so spent the night on the settee again - because my head is raised higher, and I don't disturb the bread winner.

Madam Mim spent yesterday with her baby cuz, my brother (no mean feat there), my SIL and mumsie. She also popped into mums on the way home from college on Thursday too - and guess who didn't use the chain again? Apparently it was still daylight. And Erin was jumping up and down outside the front window!:roll::roll:

I know how that feels - been there upside down and all. It all happens in slow motion too. Glad everyone is alright - very scary, and there's nothing at all that you can do to stop it. I had my seatbelt on and ended up on the passenger side and back to front - still can't figure that one out!

Just been up to Laverstoke for some meaty bits. Came home with all sorts - including 2 chicken carcasses that they were going to throw away - someone just wanted 4 chicken breasts. What a waste - there's a ton of meat on them! He threw them in for free! We're going there on another Sunday!

Oh Laura, how traumatic :(

I know it's a horrible feeling, I saw my mum have a car crash out side our house and it took ages for the memory to go away :(

many ((hugs)) hope you're alright now and glad no one was badly hurt. xxx

Film was good today and the past papers went quite well :)

We're slipping peoples!

If only you were closer Koojie and you could have bought a turkey from my work experience farm for Christmas - free range and 'prepared' by me :). She texted me a few days ago saying it was alright to go again this year :D

We don't go to the butchers not eating a lot of meat (only chicken).

I have a load of Biology to do and our teacher wasn't there last lesson so its all the cover work from the lesson and homework - I've been doing anything but work

((hugs)) for Laura, i'm so glad your friends are ok. It's another wet and dark morning here, yuk. DS and I decided to go to work with DH yesterday. What should have been a short day, turned into a very long one, over 12 hours :o:shock: Due to very heavy traffic in London and an accident on the motorway.

Morning all. I keep getting overruled on here, so I can't always get back - unless it's in the early hours! Tossed up last night whether to pop in at 2.30, but went back to bed instead. Need matchsticks!

Lewis I think my turkey would be much better without the pantomime costume. :P Pity we don't all live closer. All in favour of Mark's island . . . Poor Markybabe.

Last night we were erecting Stonehenge around the edge of our front lawn (open plan  ), because our wonderful (nasty dog) neighbours keep driving on our grass and not the driveway. But it wasn't just the odd tyre mark - it was 2 rear wheels and left a big hole where they turned and spun on the wet grass! Not only that, they also drive on our other neighbour's lawn. So Murray went to notify him of what we have done, and now he knows who left the deep tyre tracks in his grass too. I hope Murray told him that we have plenty of stones to spare. So today, I will be off to the garden centre (going further afield because nothing suitable around here) to find some hedging type plants, maybe some more roses (David Austin ones - love the old fashioned types, hardy too, and beautiful smell) to dot in between our Avebury markers. Debs got any blue stones to hand for that authentic Stonehenge look?

I'm really not looking forward to visiting garden centres. :liar::wink:

As it's national anti-bullying week (guffaws herself to death at the thought of all those scared bullies  ) - Clootie, hope things are OK at your end now.

Afternoon all! I sold my painted glass on Saturday at the Church fair, everything sold apart from 3 tealight holders and a picture frame  My gran added some drama though by keeling over whilst sat down eating her lunch, an ambulance was quickly called. She's still in hospital, but it doesn't seem to be anything too serious, she'd been feeling poorly all week, so she probably shouldn't have gone to the fair, but she was determined. Hopefully they'll let her out tomorrow.

Laura hope you and your friends are all ok, must've been very scary.

Take it a bit easier Gran!!!!

I found a diddy egg in our nest box just now. It's not as dark as Sioux's, nowhere near as big as Sioux's, nicer eggy shape than Sioux's. Not a torpedo like Apache. It can't be Tipsy's - MUST BE SQUIRT!

Lewis is in a really grumpy mood for no reason  Well I'm not in a mood ... just tired and the parentals don't stop talking at me and asking questions - do they not realise I'm ignoring them

Lauren(I think thats who she said ) from Omlet has just phoned saying my card was declined  It always works with paypal but the same thing happened a while back so I don't know whats up with it - will have to use mothers card now
