Recommended Posts

How about a Gegu? :P

half gerbil, half degu.

The fact that it's imaginary doesn't matter

Be a cheaper present etc etc.

I'm not really able to have normal conversation

Oh...wait...I know why I'm acting weirdly...I'm due more medicine.

Plain calpol this time...no evil lemsip calpol.

Have fun deciding

Lewis loves calpol! Has he ever told you?

I think its going to be a gerbil at the moment so we're looking at a few cages on ebay, want to get it early so its here in time (we do have 2 old hamster cages in the garage but thats beside the point :lol:

I'm trying to convince him to get gerbils rather than a hamster :D

Maybe once or twice

For the third time then, Lewis loves calpol

The hamster is edging back in because he doesn't want to but a big gerbil cage  I've offered to pay the extra to ensure gerbils win

being my main point of argument leaning towards the gerbils 8)

Hellooo again.

Rats are funny too.

A school friend came to play on a Saturday - I suppose we were about 11/12ish. We went to a pet shop and she bought this beautiful female mouse for her little sister. It was black and quite friendly - she called it Velvet. I said there was something wrong with her tummy - wondered if she was going to have babies as there was a hard lump there. No said the man in the petshop. So she took this poor little thing home. Her mother was not exactly happy with this wonderful purchase. Later during the summer holidays I was at my grandparents (always went to stay with them) and received a letter from friend. "My mum's a murderess - Velvet had 13 babies and my mum flushed them down the toilet - I don't like her any more".

We got my brother 2 kittens for his birthday many moons ago - boys we were told. So he went through the names - Pete and Dud or Monty and Rommel. Monty and Rommel they became. Took them to the vets to be "done" and the vet said "say hello to Miss Monty and Miss Rommel". My brother decided to stick with the names.

Night night all. I wonder if I can get some sleep tonight? Snorey MacSnoresnore was giving it his all last night and I couldn't shove him into a position where he stopped. Curses foiled again! And I've forgotten to chop off the blooming rose where it squeaks across the window - or bangs it in the wind. The cough cough cough - that's me! Hmmph!

So I'm off up the wooden stairs to nod.

Behave yourself Lewis! :D

Morning all, will have to put the news on.

I'm going Christmas shopping today :anxious: Wish me luck

Gosh Koojie, that story about your friends mum is terrible  I was sooooo lucky with my Mum though, she was the greatest. She adored the gerbils (and my sisters budgies), when cuddles the gerbil stopped breathing and died she tried to give her mouth to mouth resuscitation through a straw. If she was still around today she would have adored spending time with the girls :D

If that sounded maudlin it wasn't meant to have been, it is a happy story

Morning all! Good luck with your Christmas shopping Debs, and possibly good luck with getting your Avatar printed on a t-shirt. I guess it might look quite cool, I shouldn't lose you anyway. I'm intending on remembering my camera, whether I do or not is another matter.

We went to see Gary Numan last night, he was actually really good. Although I must've missed the bit about a dress code, I was obviously meant to be all in black. I felt quite bright compared to everyone else, and that was just in jeans and a stripey vest. Also felt quite young which was good :D

Dan's on another Inset Day today (we have 3 in November) so going to a Wacky Warehouse this avo with his friend.

We started murky and heavy rain, just made it back from the hospital before the heavens opened. His Lordship had his stitches out this morning and what jolly good company he was too. Moan whinge moan. I don't know where he gets it from. Anyhow his appointment was for 8.45 and because of the rush hour we left early. Arrived about 15 minutes beforehand. So we sit and wait, wait wait. An hour later we had an apology - the docs are still upstairs they should be down soon. We wait, and wait ... another apology. The doctors are in a meeting they'll be down soon. Eventually a nurse turns up and calls Ciaran in. 5 minutes later and she's off up the corridor. Comes back later with a doc. 10 minutes later Ciaran is finished with. So we are now well into our second hour for car park. If we can turn up on time, surely the docs should be courteous to see their patients - or perhaps appointments shouldn't be made when they obviously can't make it. Of couse you are a sitting duck - ticket barrier on arrival and pay on the way out! Bah humbug! Sorry for the rant! It's the weather.

Love the jumper! But it has to be 100% cotton for me. :(
