Lewis
We've made the gingerbread house - I think it should have an eglu and chickens in the garden! Me + brother got all the decorations out of the loft - not allowed to put them up yet though
Lewis
I like the new avatar Koojie Lewis is off to bed .. only 1.45 hours of lessons tomorrow, but I still have to be in normal time - think we're going to get some free Hippodrome tickets in the afternoon though Night
Chickvic
Morning all I like the new avatar too Koojie, I might change mine - you can't see what it is properly. It's chickens pulling a chicken in a Santa hat.
Valkyrie
I can see the chickens pulling the sleigh, but I thought it was Santa leaning forward, Chicky. I thought old Grinchy was a perfect me - bah humbug! Oh I suppose I could have done Scrooge. Er, Erin helped. I chose the piccy! Morning all and what a dark one it is too. Well at least it's dry so far - give it until 8 when I let the girls out and then - swooosh deluge!

Valkyrie
You get one from DH? Wow, can't remember the time when mine actually went and found one, the twit.
Chickvic
We have a challenge to find the cheapest card with husband or wife on. Last year mine had a 'lovely' poinsetta on the front, all I managed to get was a robin on a postbox for him. Makes it more fun to find a rubbish card Aww Koojie, does he not notice it's Christmas? Valkyrie
No wonder I'm in bah humbug mode - thing is, he likes playing the Christmas songs - shudder shudder, although I like the Fairytale of New Yorky thingy. I think it's when she says "Merry Christmas you so and so" applies so well!

Scramble
Aww, poor Fred Aww poor Fred, jump in the shower and get some pj's on - always makes me feel better! That and the chocolate I completely agree! Although when I was younger and me and my sister walked home from primary school there was always this puddle that the cars drove through and splashed us We used to watch harry potter films when we got home to make us feel better
Valkyrie
Went to a place with my neighbour and we spent ages there. I have managed to find some more things for the Christmas tree - Jelly Belly candy canes (with sizzling cinnamon - my favourite) and some more little things. Bought mum a yard of Scottish shortbread - if I get some Ferrero Roche chocs she'll be all set! I so wanted to write Ferrari then. We drove home in really awful weather - dashed into the garden with the girls corn (they'd gone to bed), so they ran out for some food and went back to bed. In the time that it took to get down the garden and back up again the rain had gone through my jacket and the rain was dripping down my trousers and wetting my knickers - I managed to wait until I got wet again by shutting the girls in for the night and retrieving the food, then dashed upstairs to change. My bum is all warm now! Ahhhh. His lordship is away until Friday, Erin is late at college, Muz is at his mums and I have the house to myself. Whoo hoo! Trouble is I feel so sleepy. Will hide pressies before Muz gets home. I have tested his mug - it's so clever although it looks dark brown and the writing is in black so you can see it, but when it has warm water in it, the brown turns to white and the black writing turns blue. Brilliant! So I have bought him a jam spoon - well, for someone to give him - probably Ciaran because he forgets - or is too lazy. I also bought a jam/sweet thermometer because they haven't got any around here (humbug). I made some fudge a couple of nights ago - just finished it. Oink! Still looking for that perfect squidgey chewy fudge - at least I can check the temperature instead of watching the colour change.
Space Chick
Evening all Phil wants to buy a peanut butter maker All this talk of Christmas cards, Phil has never sent me a card....ever....not even a birthday card.... or an anniversary card. His logic is he can just wish me a Happy *insert occasion here* so why does he need to waste his money on a card Off to make tea now, before I get interviewed by the police That had you panicking then didn't it......... its OK, as a respected member of the community *cough*, the police want to interview me on what I think should be their priorities next year I'm rather looking forward to it

Space Chick
Well that was fascinating. They really listened to my opinions. In fairness, I live in a very low crime area, but as with every area in the UK there are always a few problematic issues. They will feedback in February on the progress However, the neighbours opposite had visitors leaving as the police were leaving my house, you should have seen the look on their faces
Space Chick
OK my husband is now doing my head in Solve an argument here............. Trifle - is it better with or without sponge? Lewis
at the neighbours visitors! Tell him he should get a peanut butter maker - we were looking at them in our frees today, was it red and £30? Went to town to get the free tickets and then some speakers to replace the ones they blew at the charity event. We got some good ones, delivered to school, but the teachers have to get involved and tell the company they should be contracted to come in every few weeks to sort out sound problems .... its the first problem we've had in 7 years at the school + we've sorted it Oh ... and with sponge
Space Chick
Interesting initial voting. I will wait for a few more responses before I reveal who sits in which camp in this house Yes, it was red and £30 Lewis
