Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 11

Recommended Posts

Me thinks Lewis will be spending a lot of time picking up needles

I've never had a real tree and neither had my best friend, who is from Southampton but moved to Wales a few years back...she decided she wanted to go 'country' and have a real tree....her parentals said it was her responsibility...her responsibility = my responsibility  so the two of us spent forever picking them up

I bet it look s nice though, Lulu :D

I put a chicken on top of our tree last year

Not a real chicken!

You know you can buy those little hat things so that when you have a boiled egg some people put a little hat thing on the egg to keep it warm?

Well, I don't use one but I bought a chicken one because it was cute so it sat on top of the tree

If that makes sense

Just google image egg warmer and something should come up.

Evening all,

I have been wrapping presents. Gosh its hard work

Only I think I have bought my sister the wrong thing, so have sent a panicked text to her OH

My Godchildrens sacks look HUGE!! My sisters and her OH's little piles look pathetic  Although I haven't stated wrapping theirs yet.

The hampers I made for my Grandad and Aunties are looking 8)

Have decided I don't want to cook, so have ordered a take-away from our friendly Indian Restaurant

See you later crazy friends :D

I missed all the foodie talk! Bah humbug!

No jelly in trifle, sponge liberally dolloped with strawberry jam. Fill up to the top of the spongey bits with sherry, custard on the top. Used to make my mums arm go dead! Especially when I told her it only had a little bit of sherry. Mwahahahaha! I seem to remember bunging on vanilla Dream Topping - yuk! Or cream with some icing sugar was nice. Talk about rotting teeth!

Been banished from here. But the peasant is now revolting and Muzzah is now keeping out of the way. Boy have I been in a bad mood today.

Koojie, I was just about to serve up dinner when my daughter came downstairs & cadged a lift to the station. When I returned 20 mins later, my son asked me if I'd meant to leave the rice cooking.

Luckily he'd rescued it, & thank goodness it wasn't the frying pan. I really have goldfish memory.

Does anybody ever feel....

Oh, evening all!

Hope it was OK Koojie.

Teabag - I did the same with soup last week when I went to pick Phil up as his train was cancelled and so he got a bus but that drops you 3 miles away, so I had to pick him up to drive him to his car at the train station car park.

I managed to save it :anxious: just!

BTW - Was coming on to say nighty night :)

 I always set the timer, go and do something and then can't hear it going off because the radio is on!

The tree looks alright, but 4 sets of tree lights have gone this year! They're the ones you can link together in a big chain ... dad got them from America when he used to live out there, then we got more sets a few years ago when we went on holiday. Have tried the fuses and replacing bulbs but no luck

Night Debs + Chicky :)
