Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 11

Recommended Posts

Morning all :D

I have the urge to make a trifle today - without sponge of course

I have to take Grandad to a hospital appointment later, but I could pick up some strawberries to make my jelly, I know I have gelatine here.

On the other hand, probably best to stick to making mince pies, don't want another days domestic bliss shattered

Good grief !!! What have i missed :lol::lol:

Trifle, with sponge spread with jam and soaked in booze, fruit and lots of homemade custard and cream. Jelly is fine in it to :) We always have an alternative to Christmas pud and i have to make it. I did trifle last year and by demand have to do it this year!

Mince pies warm with brandy butter

Now christmas pud - with cream, brandy butter, rum butter, brandy sauce or custard??!

Warm mince pies :)

And christmas pud with brandy sauce and custard  (and cream if we happened to have any in the fridge  )

I didn't used to like mince pies or christmas pudding until last year

Cheese is just odd though!

Lewis has started putting up the decorations, a bit at a time so they don't notice

Might go and get a real tree soon ... I bet they'll notice that though

Well ... they noticed the tree

I asked can we get a tree ... no ... so I walked to the place and father had to pick us + the tree up

Its taller than the ceilings, so had a chop a bit off the top! Will decorate it later :)
