Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 11

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone. Lewis you got in before even Hubby, and he said it at about 4 o'clock this morning (thanks to Oliver). Not doing an awful lot, my parents have just been around with a birthday cake, my mum was feeling sorry for me as hubby hasn't even bought me a card yet - he's meant to be getting one on his way home from work

Got friends coming over tomorrow night for a takeaway and a Wii tournament. It was my friend's birthday yesterday so it's a joint celebration - should be fun!

Is this the cake in a trifle or not?

Just had a driving lesson - t'was good :)

Chickens are all out free-ranging together and eating mealworms.

Off to the shops to replace the 6 sets of lights that are broken!

I'm sure not all the boxes are out of the 'loft', but there is nothing left up there

Hope the wine tasting goes well Claire :D (Although you've probably gone by now)

Koojie - you are, quite simply, bonkers

Lewis - hope you have got the lights now.

I am feeling shattered today :? Can't decide if I am going to wrap more Christmas presents or not. Methinks if I wrap my sisters and her hubbies pressies, I might be able to take them up tomorrow

At the moment, I have loads of Christmas sacks at the bottom of my bed :shh: The only probably is, I may wake up one morning, think that Santa has been and may open them all, and what am I going to do with a Thomas the Tank engine train set

Yeah, you are right

The ironic thing is, I have bought my God children toys that I will also like playing with

I can't wait to play post office with my God daughter (neither can her Mum, my best friend - when we were children we loved playing post office - we still talk about this one time I put one of her mums stockings on my head and raided the post office because I saw it on the news  Her mother stills laughs at it, so I know that there will be 3 generations of fun and laughter at that present :D )

LED ones so they can't blow when they're put away for next year

Is that a hint to me Lewis??? I'm not very clever today

Just went to Tesco - which I hate, however, a New Zealand wine which is usually £8.99 a bottle has by some bizarre reason become a 3 for £10 wine. Needless to say I have stocked up - I bought a dozen bottles

I also needed some Jack Daniels for cooking  , 1 bottle was £19.50, 2 bottles was £25. No prizes for guessing how many I bought.

I haven't got a drink problem...... honest :anxious:

:eh: No

Hint to father .... he didn't take the hint ... so I got all the ingredients out (quorn instead of chicken so the parentals can have them aswell), measured it all out and told him crispy pancakes are for tea ... he got the hint

Subtle much?

Is the JD for the marinade? We still haven't made it! Totally forgot until now

I've just come back from Te$co's in Camberley. What a delightful trip in the rain. Ciaran has an opportunity to go for a working interviewy thing in Basingstoke in the morning and needed smart black trousers (bearing in mind his suit is grey). He only just had a text to say come along in the morning, so after trying on one of Murray's pairs - we howled with laughter - he looked like he had clowns trousers on and all that was missing was the braces. So off we go - M&S was closed but that other poxy shop is 24hours opening, so we found a pair for £6. Fingers crossed it will lead to better things. It's only temporary, but it's better than nothing. So we're all off to beddybies.
