Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 11

Recommended Posts

We just went to the train station to pick up my brother + the car park was dead so I 'drove' around

Mother: Treat it like a real road

Then started panicing at 5mph so I went to 15 :) She thought I was going to crash

Mother: Can you reverse?

So I did a bay park ... perfectly  - would have been so   to do it rubbishly!

She's going to check her insurance, because its a work car, and see if I can drive it to practice more before I take my test :)

 LSH took me out to practise 3 point turn in his Mum's automatic car. We narrowly missed accelarating backwards down the very steep Devil's Dyke.

I thought an automatic car would know when I wanted to go forwards.

As OH shouted brake! brake! I just pressed harder on the accelerator.

Luckily he wrenched the handbrake, I released my foot, & we stopped at the edge.

Well done Lewis, I'm sure you'll be far more capable! I'm fine now, but LSH always holds on for some reason.

Hello everyone, it's good to read all your news. :) Night Debs.

Is it possible for you to annoy me more JJ?

Poor Phil! I bet that knocked his confidence - and poor LSH aswell ... the teachers should give better instructions I say

 I tried driving in Skye earlier this year for the first time - no-cars about and we had a huge flat drive. Dad told me to put it into 1st and slowly lift my foot and it would get the bite and go ... so I do then we get faster, so I take my foot off more thinking it would slow down but we get faster and closer to the wall - I stalled a few feet away and he grabbed the handbrake

Lewis just made the best cheese on toast ever ... with garlic mayo! (I robbed the idea from the german markets )

Lewis my brother went to Reading Uni, he did Human Geography. He loved it there, so much so, he got a job at the University and bought a house there, although he is back in Cardiff now.

Been setting up all my painted glass at the Church hall ready for the fair tomorrow. I was stood staring at it for ages wondering what price to put on each thing, I'm hopeless at it. I'll probably end up giving it away to the first person who offers me a £1. It does all look pretty set up on the table though.

..despite the friday-the-13th-ness
