gooner.girl
The river cottage cook book and the river cottage yearbook? I didn't watch the tv series (i want to when its on again) but like the look of the books. i really enjoyed the Jimmys Farm ones (not that i have cooked anything out of them yet ) Currently um-ing and ah-ing whether to treat myself to the river cottage ones on amazon, they seem quite cheap... Are they good?

ubereglu
How much are they on Amazon at the minute? Bearing in mind you have to pay postage. I'm saying this as Waterstones are selling all of them at half price at the minute.
Martin B
I think Amazon might still be cheaper. The Diary is really cool too!
ubereglu
Check the prices against www.play.com, I say this as they do free delivery on everything!

Cinnamon
I think I have all the River Cottage books now - my favourite is the Family Cookbook, which I use on a weekly basis. They are all really well worth adding to your cookbook collection
gooner.girl
'River cottage year' came through from Amazon today - have had a quick flick through and will have another look later (got slightly distracted by the other book i ordered 'starting with ducks') A lovely pic of an english springer spaniel (my favourite breed of dog) but quite a lot of pics of dead birds... Anyhow, some of the recipes look a bit out of my league but i think i'm going to enjoy the written aspect of it and the ideas it will spark!
