Lesley
Jazz was very poorly and we were up to our ankles in dog sick Yesterday turned into one long blur of work followed by dog sick, dog blankets to wash and dry, more sicky dog blankets to wash and dry and a trip to the vets . Probably just a sickness bug but she couldn't even keep water down and ended up having to have an injection to stop her being sick and antibiotics. She's had two small meals this morning and kept them down. I'm waiting for Ginette to call in for her turkey, with all her family, so I'm really hoping that Jazz remains well I've had far more cleaning to do than I anticipated doing for Ginetts's visit BUT....... in the midst of all that we did go and collect............................... Lesley
OLIVER THE RAM!!!!! We've borrowed him for the next six weeks! We left Jazz with my son believing she couldn't possible be sick again - of course, she was but he looked after her wonderfully. We had a really ******* drive in thick fog to go and collect him and we brought him back but because Jazz was still poorly, he was unceremoniously dumped in the field with the six girls and left to his own devices. Last seen trying to make friends but they didn't want to know and were running away. I can't tell you any more because the fog is so thick, he hasn't been seen since Oliver is a bit lacking in the er....... usual attributes of a ram - he only has one testicle He did prove his fertility last year though and is the sweetest ram you could ever meet - he is really friendly and is a totally unrelated Shetland. He isn't wearing a harness so we will just wait and see what sort of surprise we get in 6 months time Photo will follow - I'm expecting Ginette to turn up any time........
