Valkyrie
Morning all. Hi Chicky - hot lemon and honey and ginger to frighten the cold away - and garlic, and (onions are supposed to be good). You won't spread any germs because "Ooops, word censored!"ody comes near you after eating the garlic! Ooh Josh that sounds so scary. Anything with a remote hint of danger the police aren't really interested - all health and safety. But your mum sounds great! Couldn't get back on here so went to bed in a huff! Madam was "having a conversation" - I saw some of the "conversation" and "conversation" was not what I would call it "drivel twaddle rubbish" would have been more apt! Anyway I was really tired yesterday from the moment I got up, tried several 40 winks but that made it worse, so I did a Debs and turned in at 9.30! Muz wanted to read (I actually raced him too), but I already said he could. I was off to the land of nod as soon as my head hit the pillow - normally I can't sleep with the light on. Now I'm sort of awake. Where's the coffee? Oh thank you Sheila.
clootie
Morning all Lewis - hope bro is okay. My friend has the same thing but is reluctant to do anything about it. Chicky - poor old you. Hope you're feeling better soon. Josh - how awful. Carol singing thugs. How lovely. You were both very brave to chase after them. Scramble! - Long time no read post. Nice to see you, to see you .......... Debs - the Times? Woo hoo What was it about then? (just nosey) Day 3 of fitters - I've been rubbing down stairs, filling and rubbing down again in preparation for paint today. Lost the will yesterday at around 4pm. Found it again this morning thankfully. Pip pip
Valkyrie
Well done Clootie - you sound exactly like our neighbour - she's always got some paintbrush in her hand (and she loves using her sanding tool). Methinks you need to get a Black&Decker mouse! Makes sanding down easypeasy. Of course the dust gets everywhere!

Space Chick
Morning all Thank goodness I am working from home today, I have come down with some kind of stomach bug. I wasn't right yesterday and had been sick a few times, but today I am even worse, was up several times during the night and my stomach is in agony Anyhow, enough complaining Cloots - it was in response to a chicken article, I started the thread when I read the article on Friday, I emailed a letter, and it was published yesterday. I put a link to the original article in the nesting box, and Old Speckled hen added a link to my letter yesterday, so you can read both if you want Koojie - The phrase "pot and kettle" springs to mind, poor Erin, all we talk is drivel too
Valkyrie
How dare you imply I talk rubbish - I most certainly do not - I waffle and that's totally different!

PurpleTree
Hope you feel better soon Debs, congrats for having your letter published. Have you sorted your broody yet? You've sparked a bit of 'discussion' in chickens about it. Josh, that sounds terrible. I never open the door if I don't who it is. You don't really get 'real' carol singers, it always seems to be young lads hoping to make some money, and they only ever seem to know one chorus of Jingle Bells. It's actually not raining today Wonder how long it'll last?
clootie
Poor Debs - what a rotten old time you've been having of late. I hope it passes quickly missus.

Valkyrie
Enjoy yourself Lewis. Er haven't spotted it on mine yet, Fred. Now this new film out with Hugh Grant and that insipid SJP. Do I really want to see that film? Er, not for those two but Sam Elliot's in it phooowarrr that voice! Quaking at the knees I is. But he still sports that stupid moustache. Oh well I can just listen.
