Blackrocksrock Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 I have finished my first small lap quilt - I have been inspired from you all on this forum and I must admit it has been learn as you go and u tube videos when stuck - I bought a walking foot and must admit its the best thing out and easy to use and gives a great result. Blackrocksrock Posted December 26, 2009 Author Share Posted December 26, 2009 You are all so kind - it kind of looks like an xmas tablecloth but its from a charm pack I bought years and years ago and started then and never finished and was determined I would finish it this time. It has taught me the correct way to do it after this one has lots of wrong ways to do it One of my bengal cats loves it and used to sit on it at the table when I was quilting it too so I dare say it will sit on the 2 or 3 seater settee for them to use and keep their claws off the leather!. My next project is well under way and is a quilt panel for a baby cot and its just quilting but still a lot of work and I am enjoying doing it now I have the walking foot!.
