If my white chicken and my grey chicken had walked past and seen another getting lots of corn, they'd have mobbed her and you! They are better trained even than her!

Very clever chicken, how quickly she has got you trained to kneel, click and feed her, all by jumping on to a baord and to cap it all she sets off a car alarm to tell you its the end of the test!

How dare you !!!!!! (but you may be right!)

 

If she was a pet dog, who would query teaching her tricks ?

 

I truly beleive she enjoys it. She can't do facial expressions but her body language says it all - she's up and down with a spring in her step - she gradually gets closer and closer to me on the perch - I think she likes the attention - the corn is almost incidental.

 

I don't think the other 2 have realised whats going on yet. So I plan to do some 1 on 1 training with them when the weather gets better.

 

When Chikki was alive they did synchronised (well nearly) jumping - much more entertaining than synchronised swimming !!

Oh that looks such fun, just You tubed all the other items on chicken training. brilliant! Am going to start with mine tomorrow! all done with love and kindness and of course a lot of mixed corn!

 

We could have a new Omlet competition in the new year for the best performing chicken!
