Just catching up from last night - only had a couple of minutes on here.

Lewis is probably stressed without realising it - that certainly tires you out. Take a short break with the chucks. :D

JJ stop taking breaks with the chooks and do some maths.

I agree Debs - mine have been eating beetroot leaves - we have funny poo too. When I say we, I mean the hens.

PT, that's sad news about the other mum. I hope you managed to get some good zzzzz's last night.

JJ - it's still cold outside - we have thick frost. Brrrrrr. I wonder if they'll show your news on the Welsh channel on satellite? Well done for finishing your thingy - don't know why, but keep thinking of a little bull.

See you later.

Morning all! Well I got straight into bed after the boys were in bed, read for a bit, then was fast asleep by 9pm. Don't remember hubby coming to bed at all, but apparently I opened my eyes and looked at him. He also complained this morning that I was snoring  He tried tickling my feet to stop me (I normally yell if he touches my feet) but it didn't work. Obviously proves I was very very tired.

Heard that my friend - another mum from school - is still in hospital with her little one. They've been there since Sunday and were hoping to come home yesterday or today, but he came down with another infection yesterday afternoon. He's back on oxygen and various meds He was born 4 months premature, so he's susceptible to picking everything up, although he's over a year old. So just praying  that the docs will sort him out this time and they'll be home soon. This is about they're 4th or 5th stay since about October, if not more.

Also our front room radiator started dripping overnight, so I'm waiting for a man to come and fix it, he said it'd be some time later today. Trouble is I don't know when 'later' might be.

Goodness everything happening in your neck of the woods.

Ciaran had an IT interview this morning for some sort of apprenticeship with links to Microsoft of sorts - have no idea I kind of stopped somewhere around IT and then it was technical lalalalala. He passed and will start in February. He is well chuffed with himself. He looked so smart this morning too. Now if only he can control his priorities.

I spy with my little eye a chicken ark to the left of the washing line. Pricewise cough splutter dream on. But oh my goodness that kitchen! And the lake. Could bung some aplacas on there with my fortune that only just needs to be found - guess it looks like my future career will be robbing banks.

Well done Ciaran :clap::clap:

That house looks lovely, the lounge is huge, do you think the current owners like clocks? It's own lake too for some duckies

I'm freezing, but I can't turn the heating on due to drippy radiator, and not knowing when the man might come. At least Olly's fallen asleep. I just finished my book, quite strange, but enjoyed it, called 'The Book of Lost Things', a boy is obsessed with books and enters a fairy tale type world, but all the traditional fairy tales when they're retold are all twisted and sinister.

Noooooooooooooooo

Outside with the chickens, bringing mealworms to them. I managed to trip over the garden step...the brand new £10 pot of mealworms gets dropped on the floor. Lid pops off in imapct. Pot then proceeds to roll all the way down the garden path, stop by hitting the shed having spilled it's contents EVERYWHERE

I then spent ages picking them up, tiny cuts from stones, brown from soil and mutilated worms on my hands...only got about 70% of them back in.

Mother was not pleased. :anxious:

Although she keeps laughing at me...because apparently my face looked hilarious :lol:

She says she's going to be telling people about it along with the time I accidentally took the car mat to school.

Sigh, deep breath....

Well done to Ciaran :D

I ♥ the house Koojie

Hope the heating is fixed soon, PT

Book sounds good too. :D

YES, okaaay...I'lll go revise

Well done Ciaran :D

8) house Koojie! Close(ish) to home too so can come back to lamb mothers sheep and 'do' the dinner chickens

Could be stressed about stupid physucks exams. Still took an hour to get to sleep - tried the one I heard on the radio - squeeze your toes, feet, legs ... blah blah moving up and finish with your face, but I think it woke me up more

This morning: do a bit of revision, go to the shops to return a book, bit more revision, we all drive to Sainsburys for cookies + Somerfield for £2 B&J ice cream.

Go to only lesson, sit down ... *brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring* Fire Alarm

Back to a pointless lesson, went to the lighting box/balcony in the hall (its the quietest place in school + there are only 2 keys so we can use it any time), did 45 mins revision then it was lunch - but everyone goes home on a wed so I did some physucks, set up for assembly then another bit of revision, stupid lower sixth need to be taught how to do lighting for next year - sent them home to 'revise' and we'll do it next week  then stayed in school till 5 revising!

Such a long day but hardly any work done!

Anyway sorry for the waffle , watching Skins series 2 and will do a bit more iab :D

I like waffles. You waffle to your heart's content - or at least get it off your chest. :D Well done for all that revision.

Sorry JJ 14.gif it's the sort of thing that happens to me. Those lids are so blooming hard. I think while Ciaran's in a good mood I'll get him to order me some of those wormies off e bay and give him the cash - this time they'll be in a big plastic box so mousie in the garage can't munch and poo in them.

Anyway at least they didn't fall in tons of snow and get all wet. I'm going to ask your mum why she didn't take sneaky piccies.

I hope your heating is on now PT - you'll have to put a couple of bowls under the radiator, a couple of towels to hand in case and bung the heating on to warm it all up and then turn it off at intervals.

Like its popped, but I can't un-pop it :eh::lol:

Just caught up with 1st episode of My Dream Farm, I shouted George! when Warborne farm come on

A few good tips on there for cloots

Buy in lambs at a couple of months old, get pedigree's, and you can get 6-7 sheep in an acre :D

*cough*photos of said field?*cough*

 We watched it yesterday - Murray said he would rather George do the programme as he is better qualified than Monty Don who just has his research team doing the work. He still has that daft hairy dog.

Tis OK Debs - no worries - I often miss bits and have to read through later - like the accidental car mat - thanks Claire. I am wondering what tubes and pipes will be cleared though. NO piccies of the fall out required thank you!

Ere - I don't know what have you and Lewis been doing - ear muffs for you or nice warm alpaca woolly hat to cover those little appendages that cause so much discomfort.

Nightie night Ebs. Oh JJ you've just made me laugh so much, i have visions of you trappasing round with a car mat on your coat. An alpaca hat sounds lovely Koojie, i have been wearing my wool one to try and keep my ears warm. The curry was lovely but doesn't seemed to have cleared any pipes or tubes  Have just had a lemsip to see if that helps. Had to watch Hoby City in my bedroom and wack the volume up. Adam came in to say goodnight and ran out quick as he said it was so loud.
