Valkyrie
I was looking at 2 very soggy Orpies yesterday and yes, confirm splash and blue do indeed have brown eyes. They were watching me doing the ironing in the lounge, so I went to sit down by the window to chat with them.

Valkyrie
It was the end of last weeks - I'm starting this weeks today!
Chicken Shirl
It was the end of last weeks - I'm starting this weeks today! Sounds about right. Feathers would have been a better option for us humans, much less trouble than clothes. Not so good when the moult starts though. Imagine the fashion statement of some gorgeous feathers. Ps. My eyes are brown.xx
Valkyrie
Mine are yellow in the middle with greeny/grey on the outside. If the sun shines in my eyes (and the whites are bloodshot ) they look like a shade of teal.

Valkyrie
Exactly - it has to be brilliant sun and very bloodshot to get a decent effect! Gave our Sussex the eye today - she's being very naughty - and hers are orange.
