I am thinking ahead to when all my girls are laying as we have two who have been for a couple of months and are giving us a dozen eggs a week. When the other four lay we will have a surplus. I have found people only too willing to give me theirs and they usually buy the eggs off me when they come round with more boxes I charge £1.20 for 6 eggs. I've also got a few spares now, as they don't last forever. I sell at work and charge £1 for six. My customers keep coming back, so they must be happy, and some of them have also been here to meet the girls - not sure who enjoyed that most! I do exactly the same....they have had to move my pigeon hole to the top cos people are always trying to ram egg boxes in there. £1 for six and everyone has a box with their name on that I fill as they return it to me. Each "customer" gets a colour print out with photos of the girls with their names and breeds as I write the girls names on the eggs...this is really popular.
