Valkyrie
It's a shame that the guy wasn't well, but if ever my OH did that to my kitchen - the programme would only last a quarter of an hour - I'd be detained at Her Majesty's pleasure! Lesley
It's a shame that the guy wasn't well, but if ever my OH did that to my kitchen - the programme would only last a quarter of an hour - I'd be detained at Her Majesty's pleasure! As long as 15 minutes?? - exactly what I was thinking!
Lesley
Does anyone else feel that MD and the women from Flower magazine seemed to be missing the point? The whole idea was that the two cousins produced local and seasonal flowers - he wanted them to become more commercial and flexible enough to provide whatever prospective customers wanted at any time of the year I'm glad they changed the name and set up a website but I hope they feel able to stand by their principles and still survive. Valkyrie
We thought exactly the same. I liked their posies and arrangements - much nicer than bog standard types from the petrol station, supermarkets and florists. And I think lots of brides do actually like to have something more personal and different. Good luck to them I say. Of course I did my little speech to Murray about bokashi during the programme - can't think why that cropped up.
The Dogmother
I might have to catch it on watch again. Wiggly Wigglers used to do seasonal, English flower bouquets, don't know if they still do, but they were lovely.
Valkyrie
Yep they still do - and were a source of great inspiration for the ladies.
ubereglu
I found last night's program really interesting and what they produced for the shoot was really good considering they're not proper professionals. I really liked the ethos of the business, but I think the guy who sold them the land saw them coming though with land like they had.
Daphne
Now the series has ended (I think) I am left wondering what the point of it all was. I haven't found it either informative or inspirational.
Valkyrie
Just how not to go about things and make sure you research well before taking on such a big project, and not to upset the locals.
