gooner.girl
Oh good. Liverpool only drew 0-0. 3rd place will be "Ooops, word censored!"nals again soon! (well, give it a few weeks! ) We've left Bolton trailing in our wake already... I bet Chelsea is pleased as well...

gooner.girl
we'll be grabbing your ankles soon... just wait! Phil Scared???!!... I don't think so! Well Martin and Chelsea will be happy with leads at half time... As for Bolton, well they are making a meal of beating Watford... And am relieved to see that it looks like noone will be getting 6 points for the Wolves - Plymouth score!
kannie
Hi football fans (from a non-football fan!) Sorry to crash your thread, but thought this was the best place to ask a footie question.... My tai chi group meets in the shadow of the new emirates stadium, and last week there was a match on at the same time. As a number of us live very locally but have never been to an "Ooops, word censored!"nal match, we were wondering how much it would cost to go to a game. Any ideas? AnnieP
I don't think you'd get tickets...... If you do, let me know how, as I'd love to go to an "Ooops, word censored!"nal game at the new stadium, but have never managed it.
kannie
I don't think you'd get tickets...... No, I expect not, but we were interested to know how much it'd cost, anyway. Seems a bit mean when we live so close I guess the touts on the road must drop their prices a bit just before the game starts....

Martin B
Well Villa were fabulous and victorious. The link up play between JAC and Young was fantastic, the future looks very bright. It was a nervy last 5 minutes with sorensen making 2 world class saves and West Ham hitting the angle. Watch out for this game on Match of the Day! kannie
£32-£90 for an adult! £90! Thats a lot! Big range isn't it? I suppose there are better and worse seats. Is it possible to buy tickets if you aren't a season ticket holder, apart from through touts?

Is it possible to buy tickets if you aren't a season ticket holder, apart from through touts? No Kannie, not really. Not unless you go in the away end. There are levels of membership (OH and I are red, which is the basic one) You pay £30 per season which gets you priority access to tickets, (plus a membership pack with a DVD, book etc) The longer you are on the membership list the more easy it is to get tickets as you can go up levels. There are different levels, Red, Silver, Gold and Platinum (Gold and Platinum are season ticket holders i think) So far this season even though we have 20,000 odd more seats then Highbury the tickets have not gone on general sale (ie available to anyone) If we had drawn a lower division team at home in the league cup they might have done (but we didn't) The problem is we are just a great team that plays fantastic football that people want to watch (except for earlier today ) and demand is high... Guest
OK here's the table... Dan had a storming start with 7points!!! which puts him joint top with prediction-princess Helen (who had a creditable 5points today)!! Phil put in a very respectable 6 along with debutant Annie - who shows early promise! Lorna posted a respectable 5, but Chelsea had a wobble in form and crashed with 3 points. Martin s"Ooops, word censored!"ed 2 points and holds up the table - showing relegation form! (but is cheered by a Villa win!) It's quite tight at the top - 4 players split by one point.... "Ooops, word censored!"ody took advantage of the 6 points on offer for a correct 2-2 prediction for the Wolves game... name total Helen 16 Dan 16 Phil 15 Annie 15 Chelsea 14 Lorna 14 Martin 11 Phil

Guest
Thanks Martin & Helen! Maybe we'll just go on a tour! I could probably get you tickets in the away end for the next league fixture.. the date is currently subject to change.. only down side - you'd have to sit with me and the rowdy Bolton away-fans!! Phil PS - the away-tickets I got were £32 each
Martin B
A childrens ticket in the away end is £16.
kannie
That's sounds like a fun offer, Phil! Would we have to cheer for Bolton though?! Bit hard when we live where we live! Is it this season? (Unfortunately I don't think we'd pass as children, even if we did pass as Bolton fans, Martin!) Where is Bolton, anyway?!

It's scheduled for Saturday 14th April - BUT the FA Cup-o-Soup semi-finals are due for that weekend - so if either "Ooops, word censored!"nal or Bolton get to the FA Cup semi-final then the game would have to be postponed.. it would be this season though! Bolton is in Sweden! let me know if you're interested - nearer the time!! It's much easier to get away tickets than home tickets for teams that a up at God's end of the country... gooner.girl
GRRRR! So cross about "Ooops, word censored!"nal today - stupid Mike Riley. Very harsh to give a penalty and a sending off. (Lehmann was funny though) Can't believe we had the ideal oppourtunity to catch up on Liverpool and fluffed it up. And it was the only prediction that i got wrong as well. That will teach me to be upbeat about "Ooops, word censored!"nals chances... Humph.
chelsea
mike Riley is a twerp (he looks like he should be in the Bee Gees ) always dubious, dodgy decisions wherever he referees. I think it was a sending off....but not a penalty as the original contact was outside the box. (I should be a referee) good to see liverpool dropping points! 'Brough is always a funny place to go.....bogey team they are.
gooner.girl
Yes Senderos was last man so should possibly have been sent off but Yakubu went down like sack of spuds and contact was outside area so shouldn't have been a penalty... I don't mind players being sent off as we sometimes play better with 10 men but am cross re:the penalty... I knew you'd be pleased to see Liverpool drop points...
